When I first read the The Mortal Instruments series I thought it was amazing and became a huge fan. I'm also a big fan of Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Harry Potter so I thought I was imagining it when i saw so many similarities between the two, only to find Ms. Clare was known for stealing lines from both of the series. Now i cant bring my self to read MI anymore, she has really lost all respect that I have ever gave her.

When I first heard about this I was excited because it was the Prequel to The Mortal Instruments. But when I read it I realized it was a totally different story. I like both of them because of the characters. And Harry Potter? Harry Potter is amazing but a total different story and not comparable.

I love Clockwork Angel because it is original, well written and simply amazing. Well ... that and my name is also Tessa ;)

there different charters, in a different time but in the same world so its like leading up to the first books, i personally like cloak work angel better then the city of bones but thats just me, i have a crush on Will and really -who doesn't?! ;)

In my honest opinion, nothing beats Harry Potter, especially since it has greatly affected the lives of so many people and united thousands of individuals despite age, gender, race, religion, etc. But I do love Clockwork Angel. This is the reason I usually don't like trailers for books.

The people cast look nothing like how anyone pictures the characters, the acting is bad, the pictures are over the top and in the end, they rarely make sense when you read the book.

The first page I read the book, I was like... DAMN! THIS IS AWESOME! VERY CAPTURING INDEED! And somehow, I got the feeling (just a feeling or a piece of my imagination) that the character William Harondale has the same vibe as Damon Salvatore from the Vampire Diaries... Well, except that he doesn't go around doing psycho killing or snap and do more killing... No, it's just a vibe... You know, the looks and all...
