  • Both look bad in Youtube

  • ?????????????

  • in traditional texture filtering, texture resolution is reduced as objects get further away.

anisotropic filtering reduces the texture resolution in one dimension only (width or height), depending on the orientation of the object in game.

imagine your are looking down a corridor, the texture on the floor will only have its height reduced while the texture on the walls will only have its width reduced.

the term "anisotropic" means "directionally dependent".

  • FACE PALM

  • This should be in 1080p ><

  • anybody tell me that -

what the hell was that ?

  • @sunnyshinde100 Anisotropic Filtering makes that the textures load faster in more distance

  • nvidia has still better af and amds af still sucks p:

  • I'd have preferred a grid texture or a black and white squares, chess board texture.

  • 1994 graphics WTF.

  • Well, in 480p it's bad to see...

  • isn't that what FXAA helps with among other things?

  • Looks the same, sad.

  • вот вот - разницы нет. разрешение низкое

  • Don't see much of a difference

  • @dson32 Agreed, I think thats because there isnt much of a difference. Reminiscent of bulldozer...lol I guess its Amd's turn to shoot blanks.

  • @matteo4m WHat are you talking about? The 7970 is the fastest single GPU on the planet by at least 20%(up to 40%) and with 200%+ increase in tessellation performance. Making the fastest graphics card in the world is hardly shooting blanks.

  • @dson32 The 7970 has less shimmering.

  • own baby
