question, im more of a mixtape dj so i want to blend all my songs together on one cd but i want the cd to play all the way smoothly so it sounds like one big mix but also having it a seperate tracks, can i do this with serato, or is there another program i can accomplish this with??? thanks
Hey, if your a Dj and want to get known or looking for booking one hotnewdjs(dot)com is the place to be. Its a great place to advertise your music, events, etc! Plus its completely free.
Shit, are you serious? People who are incapable of creating loops and lack general knowledge should be gathered together to create a political party called.... the Conservatives
I'm 13 and I just recently Started DJ'ing Cause I just love it. I have searched everywhere to Find the Best set under $400.00. I got the set and Now I am Dj'ing Very nicely thanks to you, I just now learned how to use the "looping system". I'm going to try to post a video up soon on how im doing.
hye ppl, pls help me i got a question, i want to become a dj, so ima get a mixer and 2 turntables, but do i have to buy vinyls or i just have to load the music from my computer to the turntable?, i just dont get it how it works..
mmm well lets start simple: a CDJ is like a digital turntable that allows you to play music from a CD or in other cases form an USB but the thing of the CDJs is that they are not quite
precise in the sound as the vinyl does. and there are some turntables that you can mmmm lets say "plug" to your computer by a sound card and you can manipulate your DJ software with the external turntable
turntables yes you have to buy vinyl, if you want to use cds, get CDJs. they are similar to turntables except they use CDs instead of vinyl. if you want to go fully digital, just have a mixer and a dj software, so you can use your mp3/itunes files to mix. hope this info is useful.

is you wanna be a dj start with virtualDJ it's the best for beginners then move to ableton and buy a midi controller. The CD decks have more feeling but less possibilities and are very expensive :S
the best way of learning is to watch ellaskins , he is a very good teacher and he is also funny :) you have to practice to be good there is no way this guy got a full time job for djing in 1 month
i always wanted to DJ i ordered my setup today! i asked a friend about teaching me how to and stuff he just said its learning by doing so i guess give it a shot
my first impression was.... 700!!?
