this soundtrack has always stuck out to me... incredibly eerie but beautiful. it's a fantastic film on its own but it wouldn't have been nearly as good with any other music.

its such a beautiful score, wen i first watched the film tho i did think it was a little out of place as the film had more of a comedy edge, but now that he;s explained its bringing an element to the fim that isnt already there i think its perfect

I love what he said about the role of the film score. Carter Burwell has been one of my biggest influences as a composer. I just loved what he did with "In Bruges", and have since downloaded many other film scores.

My favorites of his work are probably "Medieval Waters" and "The Little Dead Boy" from 'In Bruges', and "Balloon Escapes" from 'Before Night Falls'. Amazing composer with an amazing ear. Burwell is a genius.
