The CIA had a responsibility to obey the law and should be held accountable but Doggart seems to be too much of a coward to blame those who actually tortured and I guess anyway blaming the innocent Rice makes for a far more sensational documentary?

Firstly Doggart woos Rice with a tongue-in-cheek Courting Condi movie, fair enough - but Rice's political opponents don't want Condi to be loved; they'd rather generate hatred and a lynch mob so as to knock out a Rice 2012 presidential campaign.

Doggart's "American Faust - from Condi to Neo-Condi" is a lie. From 2001 to 2005, Condoleezza Rice was only the National Security Advisor to the President and so had no constitutional command authority to issue any orders whatsoever.

Rice could not order the CIA to do anything. Only the president gives the orders and even then only legal orders should ever be obeyed.
