  • He does the best version of this song ever.

  • So good.

  • Same double drop D that Neil Young used alot.

  • That is Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad.

  • Written in memory of Mark Heard.

  • I do it in A minor and use a C major and G major chord as well. Seems to work. Chord structure of chorus is slightly different from verse.

  • Powerful, mighty version of this beautiful song.

  • Does he play this in drop d?

Does anyone know the chords? Amazing song.

  • @silhouettefaux Yes it's in Double Drop D. Chords are D F C and G shapes.

  • Really nice acoustical. Would have been awesome with his Wandre, which is what the original is recorded in. But still awesome.

  • That was a Great Moment to have been in for sure. I realize the video don't give justice to what it must have been like to have heard it in person. I'd love to have got to hear and see this in person especially if it would have been totally unplugged. Thanks for sharing.

  • Caught this version when he opened for Patty Griffin this past March in St. Louis, 1st date of their tour . Blew me away then, as it does now. Lift your guitar to the heavens Buddy, he hears you.
