About that "loud BAAAANNNNG..." The blast is so deafening, you wouldn't hear much of anything. Well, not for a while. A nuclear blast is at the top of the list for things that are loud, reaching over 320 dB.

Depending on the distance from the initial blast, the heat wave is variable. The radiation would cook exposed flesh as if it were in a microwave oven.

Fallout is more of an important factor which was rendered and captured quite well in this video. Great job!

the smokes speed is a little too fast and the background is too happy. Make it seem sad like red clouds or something other than that this is better than most ive seen :D

i agree, the animation is spot on, but the smoke from the cloud head is a little lacking in detail, if you are using a noise distortion map i recommend lowering the noise size, that will give you more detail. but i envy the animation, how did you do it? using rotating toris?
