Quite simple to learn. Our choir (St. Nicholaus from Litija, Slovenia) is performing this on Christmas. I personally don't enjoy such simple music from contemporary composers though. Not enough challenge and not enough originality in musical language.
@K0MP0NIST Gjeilo wrote in his introduction to the piece that he wanted to make the piano and choir equals, so at times the choir is accompanying the piano instead of the piano accompanying the choir. That would explain the simplicity of the piece. :)
Thank you Drew H. for sharing your friend's music, I will charish it for a lifetime, his music speaks such a new sublime color that has spoken to me in a way that brings chills each time I listen to it.
Dr. Scheibe is such a perfectionist! Was great to work under him.

Amazing piece of work, listened it more than 20 times! Looking to a cd release of a few of Ola's choral works:)
