you should replae the signs in the mob trap with fence gates it reduce the time from when the mobs spawn to when they fall because the path finders think that is is another solid block

@RAWRWAFL signs don't show up as a full block as you can walk through them all the time but because you can either have fence gates open or closed to save on code they made it register as a full block in the mob path finding system all the time so the just walk onto it and fall right away
