I loved Mission Impossible. But I can so agree with you about obnoxious people. I was watching the midnight premiere of the last Harry Potter and this guy just asked questions and criticized the movie the whole time very loudly. He even talked about how hot Emma Watson is. God. People.
For the midnight showing of the final Harry Potter film, this lady who came by herself came and sat right next to me and my friends. She laughed so loudly at strange things and kept talking to herself. It totally dampened my night. I always try to go to movies at odd times now, like weekdays, to avoid the crazies!
Once went to the movies on a date and my date (who also kept talking obnoxiously through the film) cat called during a scene with unhappy topless strippers. All I could think was "really? I'm sitting right next to you. You know, the girl you're on a date with."
When I was at Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1, someone in the theater was keeping like a running comentary the whole film and i was really getting pissed, and then when Dobby died she laughed like REALLY loudly, a sort of HAHA EVERYONE THE BEST CHARACTER IS DEAD AND I DONT CARE YOU'RE ALL NERDS kind of laugh.... i was so pissed
Saved from weird people in your room? Dude... you're on youtube, how can you be saved from weird people? DUDE, i was just being weird to you on skype (yeah that was me) how is that being saved from weird people? DUDEDUDEDUDE! Go outside and meet weird people, its good for your videos
@itsonlymejack Yea I know! I read that in some article and watched a video with it as well. That is pretty insane when taking his age into consideration :)
I sometimes go to movies alone, but NEVER impose myself on those around me; that guy sounds strange. I'm uncomfortable with people like that - including women who do that odd hum-singing thing to themselves (like they're trying to be Lt. Uhura from the original '60s series)
I work in a movie theatre and what you're describing is not uncommon at all. In fact I'd hazard a guess that at least a couple of times a week we get someone who comes out and actively complains about someone talking to themselves/commentating the movie or using cellphones and such in a movie whether they're alone or not. Also If you do start doing more movie stuff I'd enjoy it :)
@dadonn They're bs. We haven't been told anything about it either way actually. All of that stuff is dealt with much higher up in the business I'm sure. If I wasn't an internet person, I wouldn't know about it. In fact I was trying to talk about it to the other managers the other day and they had never heard about it.
Those action sequences were amazing! I think if mission impossible were in 3D I would have thrown up... but then I didn't have a creepy guy to distract me.
I don't know what I would have done it that awkward situation... Simply standing up and looking for a free place..is kind of rude... I don't know. But I actually laugh when people in the cinema are laughing about an unfunny joke... ^^ I never go alone to the cinema but I think you're totally right. Maybe I should try it ...
@FrozenBastille You definitely should! Going to the cinema alone will feel a bit awkward in the start. It'll feel like everyone is looking at you but, in reality, nobody's judging. It's a great experience :)
@PartYetiMusic It's funny you should mention it. I've actually been thinking a lot about doing something like that :). But I'd like to start out on my own channel to see if I like it or not.
@1992Jarhead Great minds think alike obviously! ahahha. It would be awesome because you could get a lot of contrasting opinions and people could see who they side with.
I feel the answer to this is quite obvious Simon: the man was talking to his imaginary friend (well, and you, but I don't have an answer for that one except that the man was mental)
I went to see a movie once, and there was a guy in there with his two kids and he was talking on the phone. Through the whole movie. The staff told him to stop about fifty times before he got kicked out. I felt sorry for his kids be he was so freaking rude!!
I once went to the cinema to see the Alice in Wonderland where Johnny Depp was performing. Every single time he appeared on the screen, these 14-year-old girls started to scream "OOOOH IT'S JOHNNY!! HE IS SOOOO HOT!!!!!". Every time. And he isn't even goodlooking in that movie!
"...sort of showing her boobages..." BEST. EVER.

And I would love to see film reviews on here, It would make up for me not actually seeing any of the films.
