@DangerousSk8r View menu > Face Style > X-ray. Remember it's a toggle. So you would choose that option to turn X-ray mode on, then choose it again to turn X-ray mode off.
There is also an X-ray button available from the Styles toolbar.
Personally, I have X-ray mode set as a keyboard shortcut for the letter X. so pressing X will toggle X-ray mode on/off.
@Leendoncasti I have it set as a keyboard shortcut (X) so that i can quickly/easily toggle X-Ray Mode on and off. The Menu option is located under View > Face Style > X-ray. A tool button is located in the Styles Toolbar. And the option for X-ray is also located in the Styles Window under Edit > Face Styles.
@mohawki834 both Mac and PC versions are available for download from the SketchUp website. just be sure to check the box for the appropriate OS before clicking the download button.
@grassvalleystudios definitely! there are a number of rendering plugins available for SketchUp. Check out the Photorealistic Rendering Section on the SketchUp website: sketchup(dot)google(dot)com/download/plugins(dot)html. And you might wanna check out Episode #58 of The SketchUp Show which talks about the IDX Renditioner Plugin.
lol at him saying the 'alt' key on a mac? and the 'option' key on a pc.? AND its also the 'ctrl' key not 'alt' LoL nice i was confused for a second, hope it helps =P
Hi there ! To do that, you have to move the "right" EndPoint. To get this "right" EndPoint, hover your mouse (with move tool selected) over the side of the cylinder till you find a dotted "blue Edge". Get and move the EndPoint that is the intersection of this blue Edge and the circumference.
Do you hate it when people say i will do a tutorial of so and so and then when they start they go zooming off and you can't catch up? This one is definitely not like that.
I used scale tool instead of move tool
