  • i love this tutorial!

  • how did u use x-ray mode? im trying to find it but i can't.

  • @DangerousSk8r View menu > Face Style > X-ray. Remember it's a toggle. So you would choose that option to turn X-ray mode on, then choose it again to turn X-ray mode off.

There is also an X-ray button available from the Styles toolbar.

Personally, I have X-ray mode set as a keyboard shortcut for the letter X. so pressing X will toggle X-ray mode on/off.

  • Beautifully done. Elegant and to the point. Keep up the great work!

  • Great beginners' tutorial. Simple and easy to follow. Perfect!! Thanks for sharing. Keep up the good work. Cheers.

  • How do you X-ray mode

  • @Leendoncasti I have it set as a keyboard shortcut (X) so that i can quickly/easily toggle X-Ray Mode on and off. The Menu option is located under View > Face Style > X-ray. A tool button is located in the Styles Toolbar. And the option for X-ray is also located in the Styles Window under Edit > Face Styles.

  • Google sketchup.

  • move it without selecting anything. than you can move the circle in

  • Can someone elaborate 3:00-3:08? How to "Move that mid point in"?, As i know, it only move the whole surface.

  • you guys are great !!! thanks :D

  • thanks this was great

  • when I use the move tool when making the candle it doesnt move all the sides inwards for the slope, just the side I clicked on to drag. what do I do?

  • Hi there ! To do that, you have to move the "right" EndPoint. To get this "right" EndPoint, hover your mouse (with move tool selected) over the side of the cylinder till you find a dotted "blue Edge". Get and move the EndPoint that is the intersection of this blue Edge and the circumference.

    hope it works for you.

  • Is not the "ALT"-key is the "CTRL"-key..

  • thanks alot
