  • I have the gen1 Yukon tracker 1x24 and the IR light glows red through the filter. Is there another filter I can buy to hide the visible light completely? Or should I buy a separate illuminator?

  • Do your sell a higher nm wavelength illuminator you sell? Like 2000nm or more?

  • Thanks for the Vid. Is the laser illuminator the one that comes on the Yukon Ranger or an accessory?

  • whats ur other channel?

  • are those rats at 2:05?

  • what country do u live it its beautiful. i livr in australia averything is dry, dead or dieing.

  • Yes that 1 would be fantastic at 250mw, mine is the same as the 80mw 1 at £120, much less money but the other sould be very powerfull! Let me know how you get on with which ever you buy ;-)

  • very good review!

i am thinkin of buying yukon ranger...

no one have mentiond that is is dangerous to point the ir laser at someones eyes

and others with night vision spot you right away, if you turn on the ir-laser :-)

what is the name of the ir-laser?

  • The IR laser illuminater is an intense bright light source invisible to the naked eye only needed if you want to see a very long way, pretty much all night vision units have their own IR illuminater built in.

  • does your sony night shot mode pick up the ir beam from the yukons built in illuminators??

b cause i am thinking of buyin just the illuminator

  • yes but they arent powerful enough, you need the laser Illuminater

  • I have an older model yukon spirit night vision monecular.

  • nice clear image on that Laser illuminator although its not what i need for wide angle video use at close range,be nice to have one for the fun aspect though..

  • can u post a vid of your nv set up inc camera please, gr8 vid.

  • PLEASE...can you giveme brand and model of IR LASER , because i,m see fews in Ebay but , im not sure waht is , some ir laser for 300 yards ? but maybe are only ir laser to use like laser poiint IR for night vision . And I want a IR iluminator for mi bushnell stealth night sision , for increase range of vision in night.

  • Hvae a look at Item: 280282048877 on e bay uk. or serch for seller HIGHQUALITYOPTICS he does them.

  • PS they are not a branded name, just make sure they arent red dot lasers.

  • Youre Great Man ! Really too very much Thanks for your support!

    Really Thanks snypercat!

    FCK!

  • snypercat!!

    what is "IR laser"?

  • Awesome illumination! Great Vid showing what it is capable of. Now I want one. Keep up the awesome Vids.

  • I will have to do a review using the camcorder because the Yukon is very light sensitive but the IR Laser made a massive difference. The Yukon is very impressive though.

  • I'm drooling! :p~

  • I wish there was just a smaller device with 1x vision that would work on a simular principal - using IR, but none seems to exist!

perhaps something that you walk with - that allows you to see around you, but not nesisarily way into the distance.

  • Hiya!!! I knocked up something like what you are commenting on, It used an old viewfinder from a camcorder, a tiny pinhole black and white security camera, and half a dozen IR leds as used in remote controls, for illumination... the whole thing ended up about six inches long, maybe 1 1/2 inches round, (minus battery pack,) and was great fun wandering round the house/garden in total darkness!!

  • Sorry, didnt make clear, post was reply to plymouthbiker.

If you was to play cheaply, most modern cameras are Infra Red sensative,... and most phones have a digital camera in nowadays!!! so if you put together an infra red torch/illuminator with a few I/R leds and a battery, , your phone camera should pick up enough for you to wander about on total darkness!!

  • i ll try.thx 4 ur help :)

  • highqualityoptics ebay...cant find the laser ones...i see only simple ir iluminators...help plz !:P

  • He has none listed now but keep trying, he should list one soon.

  • btw...is the same ir-iluminator and laser ir iluminator?

  • No the laser IR is a separate thing from ebay

  • thx cubleycat for info :)

  • your Yukon Digital Ranger 5x42 Night Monocular with those 2 iluminators inside makes many IR light?or its a extra IR laser the cause(how i can get that laser?is expensive?)can u explain it plz

  • number 1 illuminator is ok upto 20yards, 2 upto 60yards, 3 the laser 500yards+. using the laser saves the battery in the yukon.the laser cost £90 from highqualityoptics on ebay.

  • cheers

  • These things would be great for ratting, but the're expensive, how much did u gt urs for?

  • Wow! THAT is illumination! I have never seen anything like that before.

  • It is amazing ;)

  • wot is the nv u r useing mate .
