To me this movie is the bes! Ive seen this movie 100 times and it NEVER fails to motivate me and to help me remember my lost youth. Its the best damn movie!! THUMBS UP! lOVE THE MUSIC FOR THIS MOVIE TOO!! This is the way life used to be growing up. One of the greatest coming of age movies ever. Matt was great in this role, a bit old for playing a high school kid, but pulled it off. Linda was so dam sexy with that deep, mature voice and killer body. The soundtrack was epic, Journey-Madonna-Red Rider, and the final wrestling match had you on the edge of your seat.

Great movie!!! I always found it amusing that Loudon has to drop two weight classes to face Shute at 168. Shute was probably what Hulk Hogan looked like in high school.
