your dog needs its anal glands expressed. you can learn how to do this on here. My dog wasnt eating, wasn't playing. She was just laying around sighing, licking her butt and looking sad and miserable. I loosened it up with warm tea bag compress of chamomile tea, and a pinky finger lubed with vitamin e oil and in 10 min she was back to her old self, just watch how to video and be gentle- use warm compress for 5 min first. the glands are at 5 ocklock and 7 oclock

you need to stick your finger up his butt to do something with the glands, like express them or something, since dogs/wolves are meant to have hard as bricks poops, but our modern diets make dogs have medium/soft ones, sad really...

This is so hilarious when your dog does this, but its obviously rlly uncomfortable and cruel for the dog.

My dog has done this a lot, but im glad i know whats wrong with him know, its the anal glands blocked.

Make sure you all feed your dogs fibre.

Yes she does. It could possibly be tapeworms, the last dog who I encountered that exhibited this behaviour had the intestinal worm. I do not know what is wrong or if there is anything wrong with this dog, she could have just been trained to do this, I don't know why, though, but [I think] there are over the counter dewormers, ask your veterinarian first, then give it a try!

every week, when i bath my 2 gals, i will express their anal glands.
