To those bitter tongues and hating hearts, this music played on a historic day was not about Barack Obama himself alone however you view him as a US president; rather the musicians are telling a story of human tragedies as a result of slavery lasting for centuries, punctuated at moments like this with triumphs over inhuman ideologies and practices whenever and wherever they have existed. Take a deep breath and listen to the music. Hear the story. Hopefully a better being in you might emerge.

The only tears I flowed was the fact that this country elected a socialist! While so many in my office at work sat around doing jack shit watching all of this. I went head and did my job because that is what I get paid to do!

My tears flowed upon hearing this piece. It reminded me of the beauty of those people who stood in the mall in 1963, when the possibility of the event that took place on 1/20/2009, was only a dream; a possibility that had no real sense of becoming a probability in the future of anyone, who was present in that crowd, on that day, in '63. This was beautiful!
