Great footage! It really boggles my mind how the GoPro makes giant waves look so small. Good idea throwing in the pics for scale.

I had the same experience. A really sloped 12 foot face looks knee high, but a walled up 6 foot face looks epic.

Great! I went to Mavs, looked it, bought the t-shirt and left. Of course I told everybody I surfed it:). You guys are nuts. Try a drop of dish soap on the lens...makes the water flow right off and keeps the images clean. Love to see the camera facing the beach next time. Killer vid man. Been using gopro for over a year and Just upgraded to the HD. Funny now matter the size of the waves the cam makes it look small. Try this next surf session- turn the camera outwards so you are shooting whats in front of you, you'll get some cool stuff also. Pura Vida !
