I don't give a crap what anyone says: this game is awesome, especially in terms of setting/story. Also, why the hell is everyone complaining about the controls? You simply tilt the right thumbstick in the direction of the enemies and Baldur goes apeshit on them. If you want more ass kicking power, simply press Y, X, or RB. Too hard (pun intended) for you? No prob, just hold down RT and blast the shit out of everything that moves!

This game is crap because of the way you are moving and fighting. You can close your eyes and just move in random directions and press fire - Your character will automaticly slide to the nearest enemy and hit him. Just keep doing that and you will win the fight with your eyes closed.

I'lll argree that some things could have been better but the introduction of that thumb stick ffighting style and the sliding, I fell inlove with the gameplay. It wasn't perffect by a long shot but with the exectation of Too Human pt. 2 mabye they will fix some problems and make it 100x better. Till then the hunt for the Epic sets will keep me busy as will it keep us all.

i cant believe just wasted 20 bucks on a used copy of this, im at where you find hel right now and i just got the achievement for dieing a hundred times. the gameplay is good but not that decent your not given reinforcements when you need em and if you do your not given enough. the undead are 10,000x worse then the flood on halo 3 they swarm you and tear you apart. ive respawned and gotten killed like 2 seconds later. some enemies that are you level take 2 minutes and like 40 hits just to kill.

I'm used to pressing button's to attack for games like that not using the left and right analog sticks..the control scheme is what sucks. But I dont care though. I traded that shitty game in. yea the game is really awsome theres good replay value and you can choose up to 5 awsome classes and level them up the only downside about it is that it can be beaten in 9 hours and some the controls need to be getting use to
you need to try and balance yourself by moving the left stick in the opposite direction of where you tilt then when your upstraight or almoast push the right stick forward and whatch the lights

You probably have auto salvage on. It sells stuff without asking you. Its at the bottom right of the equipment screen. I think you change it with right bumper.

Silver is automatic and you can play on xboxlive on your own.
Gold is needed to play against other people and to talk to them. You have to pay for gold.

I bought it
I tried all classes but defender
I'm loving the commando and beserker classes
Controls are unique so i don't "flick on my fps switch" and have to relearn the controls
The camera is odd but I always set it to iso so i should be ok
And this game is pretty awesome
Oh and i finished Hel at lvl 29

Enjoy the game for what it is and stop complaining about every little detail. If you want a REAL norse experience go build yourself a longship sail it over to europe and raid up and down the coast.
