  • My mind, it bleeds...

  • I beat this!!! This is one of the hardest mazes ever built, especially if you turn off align mode and only move halfway in the fourth dimension :p

  • @pyropal000 Very true, 2D mazes are simple because you only have to follow two dimensions spacially, and it's easy to know your direction, a 3D maze gets even harder, then going all the way to a 4D maze just makes things even more challenging, trying to spacially figure out where you are, where you've been, and where you want to go. Not to mention the fact that we are barely able to imagine and comprehend a 4D space! XD As I was playing I was trying to make sense of it in 3D as well lmao

  • I remember my first acid trip.

  • WHAT IS THIS I DONT EVEN HOW DO YOU WIN?

    LIKE, WHAT EVEN IS THIS?

  • Wow I wanna play to! I think I know how it works xD but wow in every one of those 2 lines is a other section with more lines in the cube that's almost like 3d dimention's choices x2 O.o It's gotta be one challenging game.

  • MIND FUCKING BLOWN.

  • the fourth dimension can be time, but if you specify the fourth SPATIAL dimension, then it's not. You just have to be careful with your semantics. Also, this game hurts my brain.

  • This game is ULTRA-addictive! I love it!

  • I've played this. The game does a good job of making you feel like you can see the 4th dimension but ultimately it just feels like the object is back and to the right of you or forward and to the left rather than on some incomprehensible plane. Unfortunately I don't see any advancements further than this though because humans are 3 dimensional beings.

  • u win lol

  • The fourth "time" dimensions is used to calculate relativity. Here we're talking spatial dimensions.

  • hypercube?

  • @astrallllable Yup.

  • The fourth dimension is both a spatial dimension, and also considered time to us. By analogy, the fifth dimension may be considered time to the fourth dimension, but the fifth dimension may ALSO be a spatial dimension. It goes on, in the same way. It's that simple.

  • @noogai132 I think time isn't a dimension. At least, not in a way that can be related to space. I think it's its own separate thing.

  • playing the maze actually helped me understand 4D objects. Think of it like this, a 2D creature sees the world as a line, or 1D, so if you're in a 2D world, you'll view the world in 1D. Since we're in a 3D world, we see the world in 2D. If you're in a 4D world, you'll see the world in complete 3D, that's why the view area of the 4D maze is a cube, not a square.

  • @chaddythetrader

That's the dumbest post I ever read

  • @Smiffy008 You're the dumbest post I've ever read.

  • This makes my face bleed.

  • i beleave in the 4th D it does exist we just see 3D becus we are cut of from oyhers like n the bible Abraham walked in to haven with god satian walk though earth thats the 4D no limits evey direction is up so if our eyes see rightside up when we really see upside down . is it possible we are walking on an upside down earth

  • I'd never find my way out.

  • this ain't 4d -.-"

  • man we can imagine a fourth dimension in space

  • the way I see it, there are three ways to be four-dimensional

  • @GroogFish The maze has 4 spatial dimensions if you consider time then the maze has 5 dimensions.

  • @sshdas21 Only if you'd consider a maze on a piece of paper to be 3D.

  • Although there is the theory that our universe is just the 3D surface of a 4D object (like the surface of a sphere is a 2D surface wrapped around a 3D object)

  • There is also the theory that our universe has an infinite number of dimensions and we're only able to see a 3D (not surface but) object of a 4D object of a 5D object of a 6D object ... etc

  • 4th dimension aint time..... watch carl sagan's clip about 4th dimension....

  • yes it is

  • why do u say that? theres nothing 3d in this fcking universe....... u cant design a klein bottle in this universe...... only a "image" of it........ the klein bottle is impossible in this universe as the 4d maze is

  • klein bottle?, wella nywasyyes there is, I know this because you can see object at different angles, and you have two camera at slightly different angles, what's more, life cannot exist 2 dimensionally, it simply can't

  • @Gonzaga78 Yes it is, we are 3rd dimension entity traveling in a straight line called time, mathematical speaking its just another axis.

  • @EmperorOfMars do as i say and watch carl sagan's clip about 4th dimension and stop boring me

  • @Gonzaga78 Oh' don't give me an attitude. There are multiple ways of viewing 4th dimensional space, how about that.

  • @EmperorOfMars An axis extends in 2 directions. How do you suppose we change directions in time?

  • @MikeyAbbott Well that's the thing, we can't conceptualize it because we're 3rd dimensional creatures. And for that matter we only see in 2 dimensions, so think of it like this. if 3D space is made up of an infinite number of 2 dimensional planes stacked on top of each other. Then, 4D space is an infinite number of 3D stacked within each-other. So this 4D axis is there, we just don't see it, as strange as it may sound, the 4th dimension is jutting out 90 degrees out from our dimension.

  • @MikeyAbbott how about we rewind and fastforward the video :D

  • @Gonzaga78 watch Flatland. it explains dimentions in an interesting way.

  • @Gonzaga78 yes watch a 30 year old clip for information on a topic that we are still learning new things about.

  • @Gonzaga78 yes it is. you are wrong. thanks bai

  • @jacksobrooks you're argument is invalid. kaythkxbai

  • I REALLY need a screensaver for this sort of thing!!!! anyone know of one?

  • type 'tesseract screensaver' into google.

  • Interesting

  • That is totally bizarre and very cool! :-)

  • there are open-minded people

    the rest are morons

  • open minded, and there are also those who aren't fooled that easily

  • We can only see in 2D, the world we know is 3D, 4D is still a theory, which seems proper. (Yet improper)

  • did that just show movement in the fourth dimension? I GET IT NOW! THANK YOU SO MUCH! i've been watching these animations for hours and i finally understand. thank you.

  • Trippy. Awsome. And awsome agian.

  • thanks for sharing :)

  • The maze is surprisingly easy to navigate when you use stereoscopic view.

    Fun stuff.

  • Ohh I get it!! lol

  • it is 4d, projected to 3d, and then projected to 2d

and yeah, this game is fun :)

  • You can project 4d straight to 2d.

  • actually this is just TWO dimensions with the illusion of THREE. becuase the screen your watching is only in sence 2 dimensional to be physicly correct :)

  • to93alvbjo:

    I disagree.

Consider your theory, 2D is illusion too, 'cause we can imagine it like set of strings. But if 1D(string) is the simpliest concept of our Universe, we can imagine a string like a set of points. Everything based on null-dimenstion? I don't think so.

3D - is not illusion. We live in 11 dimensions, but our perception is adapted only for 3 (X, Y, Z).

    Soz 4 b4d eNg :(

  • im just saying that when you're watching a flat surface the brain project the image as if it's in 3D, only that it is in 2D, BECAUSE of the flat surface. i fucking saw it on a science program on national geographic channel and they guy who told was the one who invented the m theory. so please don't tell im just wrong when i heard it from one of the smartest people living...

  • man, calm the hell down, i didn't say you're wrong, i just said that i disagree. No one knows the truth, even "smartest people", so lets be tolerant to every theory that we have.

  • Was it something from the BBC? I watched that yesterday.

  • It's a little too early in String Theory to be saying that 11 dimension thing so freely.... =/

  • Trippy

  • 4d is only a point when you look in 3d

  • X, Y Z.....ou seja 3D

  • u cant see 4d in 3d epecialy when you r looking at a 2d surface

  • J.... LSD helps everything!! xo

  • this game is confusing, but fun. sometimes it can be beaten in 10 sec. only if lucky

  • Would LSD help me comprehend this ?

  • wtf...

  • cool
