He's smoking imitation cigarettes that are really miniature cigars, that's what poor New Yorkers smoke, because of the huge tax by the corrupt New York State government. The guy who was instrumental in raising the tax on tobacco just got convicted and can now go to a smoke-free prison.
About two packs of cheap mini cigars that are flavored, harsh little monsters, no comparison to regular cigarettes; this was late afternoon, but the tenants tell me he coughs outside on the fire-escape for about an hour in the morning. He also has an oxygen machine in his apartment which he uses at night.
He's still smoking, and worse, because of the absurd tobacco tax imposed on New York smokers, he's smoking cheap little cigar type cigarettes. The state of New York, along with a gambling monopoly, has ventured into the drup pushing trade of tobacco. They hooked the smoker, now they're pressing them for their last dimes. What crumb bums they are, and to hell they belong, no good bums.
He sounds like a funny guy, "fuck you" How is he?
