AFX put a picture of his face (or so we think his face) through a spectrograph which analyzed the highlights as sine waves at specific frequencies (given height offset) & placed the resulting sound at the end of his song. This video shows what it is, reversed (spectro-analyzing the ending of the song as a visual display).
