  • nice, but it wouldn't work for my lambo - the doors would get in the way.

  • Why are there so many people in the comments that can't work out how this was done? or even what it's for?

  • oh my god, I can't figure it out, when my door is closed, the ball is only a foot higher, i'm gonna explode

  • Ok, I had this set up in my garage in Florida, and when I moved back to California I forgot how I had it rigged. Your video doesn't show where you have it attached on your garage door. Could you give more detailed instructions? For example, I have an eyelet on my ceiling, but where on your garage door do you have the second eyelet attached?

  • i have one of these in my garage from the previous owners. but they set it up wrong so it only comes down a foot from the ceiling lol

  • imbecil..

  • wtf is the point of that tennis ball there i dont get it

  • oh its a vette? i thought it looked like a firebird, either way, both badass.

  • yeah in klorskyvandervillanbilarvillistan.

  • people have been doing this forever.

  • cool, someday when i get a place with a garage i will remember this

  • smart

  • This is awesome! I had the old tennisball hanging but my friend thought it was funny to keep adjusting the height so I bumped the wall. I finally got this little traffic light thing that goes from green to red when you are close enough. I wish I had seen this video first. Well done.

  • how much for the Vette? is that a pace car ??? nice-

  • ha.. the Vette has been in the family for a while, so it's not for sale. But yes, it is the 25th anniversary pace car edition.. 1978

  • Your chain is way to lose on your garage door opener because it clanks aganst the rail way too much.

  • Thanks! Good to know!

  • how the heck did you do this?! ive hit a road block in trying to do this, im thinking you might have run into the same road block because i noticed yours goes below the target spot and back up

id greatly appreciate any assistance you can offer!

    thanks in advance

    chris

  • Yah, I did run into a block. The directions aren't entirely correct, or maybe just not clear enough. It does go up and then back down again. So I just had to play around with the length until I got it right. I just tied a loose not around the screw attached to the garage door so that I could keep adjusting it, and then when the length was correct I tied it off for good.
