  • I almost sure the harmonica player is Onie Wheeler

  • i find myself more infatuated with bluegrass everytime i hear this

  • A Timeless Classic -

  • Why didn't the bass player get a solo? Sure, he's no NHOP, but he's no slouch either.

  • From the National Life Grand Ole Opry television show. I believe that is Roy Acuff's harmonica player, Jimmie Riddle, on this recording. Could it be Roy Acuff was the host of the program this came from. These shows were filmed an hour before the Grand Ole Opry's regular broadcast.

  • Stone Me!!!

What a great version - talk about 'breakneck speed'!

    Thanks to Poster.

  • this is blue grass at its finest and the way it was meant to be played a bunch of musicians around only one microphone

  • I have never seen this live version before; brilliant upload. Where has all the music talent gone to.

  • I've tried playing that lead banjo riff by flatpickin' it on my guitar, and can't ever seem to get it just right.
