yes hello im ready to see your projects and how to make them...we are moving in with my grandfather on his farm to help him out with projects around there...
@barbara5956 We are working on getting a couple of videos up, but have had a few challenges. If you want to see some of the photos of projects, please feel free to check out our Facebook page. We have 600 folks on the page and lots of great discussion and information sharing.
I deffinately like your video and hope to see more soon. I have 20 different things I could do with the wood right now. Even if I had no projects the oak burns well in a wood burning stove.
build a kitchen table or benches for it. Shelving. Bird houses, Rabbit hutch or worm bin. I would like to see the raised beds you made please. Thank you.
@Acehardrive5 I have a video in the cue on building raised beds, but it may be a little while before we get it published. I posted a photo tutorial on our facebook page. Feel free to check it out there. Look for frugal farmers. You will see which one is us.
@4DJAO I just heard the fly for the first time. If you listen closely, you can hear the chicken and the windchime in the background as well. Hey, gotta love amateur, and I do mean amateur film makers eh? One thing for sure, this ain't no HGTV.
@FrugalFarmers Good information all around though. Lots of good material can be salvaged from those pallets. Just time consuming. Thanks for the video.
pallets are much easier to break down with a drill...use drill bit the same size as the nail head, and just drill until the head is gone...once all your nails heads are removed, you can just pull the plank off....then u can either pull the remaining nail from the 2x4, or 4x4, Much less time consuming this way
Thanks for the responses folks. We finally reshot our next video today and hope to have it posted very soon. Feel free to subscribe so you get updates as we post new videos.
Thanks for the video. Looking forward to the next one. Always looking for ways to be frugal. I would like to see anything you are doing with chickens. Thanks!
Good informative video, you are very fortunate to have such a wonderful resource of recycled oak. I really like the 'workstation' idea for mass deconstruction. We have been leading exactly the same life-style in France for the past ten years and using pallet wood for heating, cooking and construction. I have 13 videos on some of the things we have made so far if you want to take a look. Good Luck, Happy New Year and Best Wishes from Normandie, Organikmechanic aka Andy
There is a great video with a tool that takes apart larger pallets VERY easily.
