I love that the very last words are said precisely after the music stops at a suspended chord ("... tu doives entendre/"): the silence of the music (it doesn't let Erwann say "Je t'aime") turns the last words of Ismaël ("Aime moi moins! Mais aime moi longtemps.") into music themselves, they are the last 'chord' of the music.

It gives a sort of poetical dimension to the movie's end: Yes, it is a "musical"!
