So far, everyone who owns the extreme DVD seems to be a completely ingnorant bugger. It comes with a full 1080p version of T2 to be played through windows media player! This totally slipped you all by, did it?
the comentary on the ultimate edition is actually interviews of different casts at different time and then edited together, like they didn't sit down in a room all together, and the extreme edition had a problem which you complained about which is the cardboard thing and then the dvd company realized it and then they re issued it cuz mine wasn't like that, mine could be pulled out farely easily, anyway kinda liked the extreme edition but im really looking forward to the ultimate edition
No the Extreme Edition has an "Interactive" mode where text commentary appears on the screen throughout the film detailing two things: First, How the particular scene was shot frame by frame and what special effect was used. It also includes behind hte scenes videos.

I actually the prefer the Ultimate Edition. Even though the Extreme Edition features a slightly better picture.
The Ultimate Edition has 3 Versions of the film, DTS 5.1 Audio, and excellent bonus material.
I bought the Ultimate Edition when it came out and then a year and a half later they release the extreme edition.

I have the Ultimate Edition. I've read the only advantage the Extreme Edition has is a better transfer.

With the Extreme DVD, are they selling it with a cardboard slipcase now, or is the metal one still available? Thanks! Great video, by the way.
