  • The interior isnt that bad, everyone just goes off of what they hear. The interior is exactly what it should be for what it is. It is a $100,000 Chevy super car, you aren't going to get a car with huge brakes shared with an Enzo, 638hp, 20mpg highway, and still get an interior made of gold for just $100,000. Just because top gear said it's shit doesn't mean you should believe everything. Make your own opinions.

  • The sound of a corvette at a range is so beautiful. If there was a camera that stood 1/4 of a mile behind a corvette zr1 following it. I would save that to my favorites or make it my homepage. Just because the corvette has such a deep Roar.

  • Corvette ZR1 is the best sport car! Its performance is TOP and the price is only the half of the other sport cars with same performance. Well it's not luxurious as the Lambo or Ferarri but its not important in a super car which only purpose is to go realy fast.

  • Eh. I wouldn't say it owns the ZR1 in the Ring. Jan Magnusson ran a 7:22.4 in a stock ZR1, but unfortunately that's remained unconfirmed. The Viper had the optional "Hard Core Package" as well as suspension and aerodynamic adjustments. It's tires are practically slicks too. Should just give them both to The Stig in completely stock condition and see what time he posts.

  • How is it not stock? If you buy ACR from straight from the dealer. You might as well say ZR1 is not stock also.

  • the ACR is a modded version of the Viper there for its not stock..the ZR1 is a factory car there for its stock..ACR=modded..ZR1=stock

  • Well if you look at it that way I guess z6 z06 is modded compared to regular c6..... you make no sense. If you buy it that way from the dealer it is not a modded car idiot. If you get pulled over for exhaust on acr you think you are going to get a ticket because it is modded? no! it came from the factory that way therefore it is not modded.

  • @mantas11101 lol the viper acr may have ran 7:22 but try to run the acr on the street and see how far you get, or how far you want to go. The c6r and c5r have dominated the viper.

    the zr1 also ran a 7:22 time and doesnt need a fan boy wing on the back or a rock hard race suspension.

    the acr is basically a racecar that you can drive to the track, but no way your going to drive that car for fun on the road.

    the zr1 is a fast as fuck comfortable touring car.

  • ZR1 ran all day to get 7:26 at the ring so I do not know where u are coming up with 7:22. People do drive ACR on the street not everyone is a panzi. If your talking about comfortable then might as well get automatic c6 I bet they ride even more comforatable then ZR1. Both the ACR and ZR1 are built to be on the track but ACR does it better. Love both cars but give credit where it is due.

  • acr has one thing that gives it a advantage is a wing that generates 1000 pounds of downforce at 150 and the viper is lucky to hit 150 with wing so you take it off the the zr1 WILL kill the acr thats it

    Yea I guess the 1000 pound of downforce is constantly generated.... no at higher speeds it does come into play. The ring consist of more then high speed turns. With your ideas I guess the bigger the wing the better handling the car is then. Sorry to burst your bubble but the ACR handles well because of other reasons then just the wing.

  • exactly, who cares about interior, thats why its called a sports car and not a luxury car... it is a very amazing car... i rented a base model vette and raced a sl 55 amg and beat it... both of us used paddle shifters... he even got a head start the one run and i still caught him

  • It has a decent interior from a Malibu. It's not that it's literally crap. It's just that it's crap for a six figure priced super car. If I were to get a ZR1, I know for sure I would not spec it with the hideous red interior color. It's just a shame because the CTS-V interior looks great. GM is capable of a good interior. It doesn't have to be super fancy. It just shouldn't look "sporty" or "corvette". Keep it simple

    Interior aside, it's a fantastic car. I would still buy one regardless.

  • You have a point for sure. But let me re-state mine. Nit-picking about such things on the best super-car value on the market is not fair. There is so much that GM has done right with this car. Whining that a $100,000 super-car doesn't have the interior of a $300.000 super car is ridiculous. Seriously, can you name another sports car anywhere that delivers as much performance and value as the ZR1? I would love a better interior - as many of us would - but at what cost?

  • I'm not expecting 60k on an italian interior. Have you been inside the CTS-V? It's an excellent interior. It's almost has nice as an Aston DBS. You can get the CTS-V with recaro seats. For that, I would rather have one over a Z06 because it's more comfortable. GM is capable of putting a good interior in their car. The standard Corvette should have a nicer interior and the ZR1's interior would not cost significantly more. The ZR1 does not suck and I would still buy one regardless.

  • ZR1 is an amazing car, but this guy has a point: there is no excuse for such an amazing car to have such a mediocre interior. Have you guys been inside of a CTS-V (same interior as the CTS)? That car is well rounded. It's interior is comparable to it's amazing power.

  • I'm not exactly a fan of the GTR's interior either. Have you ever seen the HVAC control panel below the multifunctional display on the console? There is no layers or depth to it. It's literally a flat plank with sparsely placed knobs. The ZR1 has a good center console design. It just needs to make itself look more classy. There are too many awkward swoops and dimensions. It also needs some Recarro seats. They should have had Cadillac's consultants do the design.
