"The Lord came from Sinai and dawned over them from Seir; He shone forth from Mount Paran"
(Deuteronomy, 33:2), referring to the prophethood of Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad, respectively.
Prophet Moses spoke to God and received the Torah at Sinai; Prophet Jesus received Divine Revelation at Seir, a place in Palestine; and God manifested Himself to humanity for the last time through His Revelation Qu'ran to Prophet Muhammad at Paran, a mountain range near Makkah.
Where did Muhammad hide his super computer? Quran which he claimed was revealed to him in stages by Archangel Gabriel in 23 years time is a perfect mthematically locked book with a prime number 19. Even a single letter or a word or a phrase if added to or deleted from the book destroys the mathematical symmetry: in other words the book becomes corrupted ! A simple calculation with Discrete Combinatorics shows that 640 billions men would require a time of 1000 trillion years to finish the book !
"On that day many will say to me, “Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many deeds of power in your name?” Then I will declare to them, “I never knew you; go away from me, you evildoers.”
"For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the Scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven."
The only first hand reaction to the 9-11 South Tower stike by a Muslim, is on my channel. For real; look in to it. If you think that you have seen everything from that day, think again.
The right brothers have invented the plane in last century
But the Quran already talked about the plane 14 Centuries ago

@iamagladfly actually he was right on. Remeber when they found bin laden, he was with 3 wifes, had massage oils, was watching himself on tv. He was basically like a lazy morman.

The "Vast Majority of Muslims" do NOT abhor violence..It is just that they don't say anything when violence is done...There are just too many Muslims who take the Quran literally... and too many others who couldn't care less about the violence done in the name of Islam.

The Quran contains at least 109 verses that call Muslims to war with nonbelievers. Some are quite graphic, with commands to chop off heads and fingers and kill infidels wherever they may be hiding. Muslims who do not join the fight are called 'hypocrites' and warned that Allah will send them to Hell if they do not join the slaughter.
Muhammad's own martial legacy and the remarkable stress on violence found in the Quran have resulted in a trail of blood and tears across world history.

the real threat is letting your holy books tell you what to do. people should keep their religion to themselves. zionists are terrible and so is islam!
I'm not a big fan but kudos for him for speaking and puttting his butt on the line. The day Richard Dawkins goes on prime time and strings his traditional list of insults and refers to Allah my respect for hm will go up.
I agree with Bill Maher that freedom of speech is central to our culture, but can we really believe that our culture is somehow more advanced than Muslim culture, when we cannot all agree to making one small exception, in that one small matter of respecting their prophet?
Is it advanced to keep insisting that we have the right to say whatever we like, even if it is deeply hurtful to our neighbours, and we have so little to gain from expressing it anyway?
Quran: 109:3-5: “…And I will not worship that which you have [ever] worshipped; and neither will you [ever] worship that which I worship; Unto you, your moral law, and unto me, mine”
2:256 “There is no compulsion in religion. The right direction is henceforth distinct from error…”
Belief is a personal choice & should be respected but not necessarily accepted by others. But profaning & mocking people belief in specific or general terms, begets response in kind
@arraba99 And apostasy. Is belief a personal choice when you are born in a muslim family and educated to be a muslim? Can you leave your faith when you grow up? Fairy tales.
@arraba99 More fairy tales. You have never heard of anyone being executed for reading the Talmud, because that never happens. Not even ultra-orthodox wacko jews take their silly books as seriously as muslims take theirs. You just admitted there is no possible way to leave islam, you get "conseulling" before you get killed, now that's freedom. Religion of peace my ass. Treason means endangering your country and the lives of others, who is harmed by apostasy?
I am giving horrific quotations word for word looking for explanations and all what you could say is fairy tale.
Explain, how could you have such anti-humanity passages in your holly book and how could the nhead of world Jewry speak of no-Jews as lesser human and advocate killing them to save Jews.
If I reverse the words and replaced Jews with non-Jews, world Zionist Jews would asking for my head. Why is this immoral hypocrisy?
@arraba99 It's not my holy book, I'm not a jew, but I know that those horrific quotations are just that, words on paper, or maybe you can direct me to the actual israeli law that commands the killing of those who read the Talmud, and tell me, how many have been executed for this. Sharia law explicitly commands the killing of apostates, homosexuals, the stoning of "unfaithful" (raped) women, and this actually happens in the real world, not just in the books (fairy tales for ignorants).
These are not just words on paper. "isare" has been caught harvesting organs from Palestinians. oezen of Palestinian chidlren have been killed by "israeli" snibers. This is a side from the hundreds of children and babies killed while sleeping in thier homes. and some children in their way to school.
@arraba99 Now that's a very serious accusation and if it is true I will lose all my respect for the israeli democratic project. The problem is, the internet is so filled with antisemitism and conspiracy theories against the jews, it is hard to tell if something is true, or just another ahmadinejadish accusation. I've never heard of jews harvesting organs from palestinians in any serious international news agency, so, if you can provide me a serious source, I will go check it.
"Is it a religion of peace? You know, I don't know, I have not read the Qur'an in its original, when you read the translation, there are many many many passages that are not peaceful at all, about killing the infidel and so forth..."
All of those verses Bill is citing, which sound violent, either in the original arabic or in the English / translated versions are taken out of context...according to most if not all Islamic scholars who have studied the Qur'an for half of a lifetime or more, those
are time-specific verses and are understood by the majority of Muslims today (out of over two billion) in the world as such. The verses relate to a time during the Prophet's (SAAWS) liftetime during which the early Muslims were suffering persecution, violence, and betrayal at the hands and swords of the Meccan Arabs and some of the Jewish tribes outside of Yathrib (now Madinah) who made peace treaties and then broke their word with the Muslims. People who cite those words as if to somehow prove
that Islam (the very root of the word Islam is slm, salaam, which means "peace" which comes from "submission to al-Lah, the ONE God") is an inherently violent religion. For instance, THIS is the verse most popular to be taken out of context by Islamophobes, which is found in surat-al-baqqarah "Kill them wherever you encounter them, and drive them out from where they drove you out, for persecution is worse than killing," (2:191). THIS VERSE is a right given to the earliest Muslims by God, who
concerned if whether or not they would be allowed to attack back if they were attacked whilst on pilgrimage to Mecca from Madinah ("City of the Prophet" Yathrib). ALWAYS these people forget the verse preceeding this - "Fight in God's cause against those who fight you, but DO NOT COMMIT AGGRESSION, for God loves not the aggressors," (2:190). What is "God's cause"? - those who are not Muslim may ask you...God's cause, as defined in the Qur'an, is giving to the orphan and the destitute, to the
needy, to the widow, to your family, to other members of your community, to the greater Ummah (Muslim community at large), and to any human beings who are being oppressed. A jihad (or struggle for the cause of Allah) is one in which Muslims seek to better themselves or society, NOT through violence but to "battle" their nafs, or their base desires that distract them from their faith and from taqwa (awareness of God) (such as lust, greed, pride, envy, etc.)....Those terrorists who call themselves
Muslims do not understand Islam, or submission to the will of Allah (SWT) through the divine revelation of the Qur'an and the life and model of the Prophet (SAAAWS) any more than the psychotic Jim Jones understood the message of Jesus Christ and Christianity."The (Muslim) believers, the Jews, the Christians, the Sabians, all those who believe in God and the last Day and do good - will have their rewards with their Lord. No fear for them, nor will they grieve," (2:62).
Reminds me of "It's a gift! Oh, it's your parting gift. As in it will part you; part of you here, part of you there, and part of you way over there staining the wall!" lmao
actually the point is that islam and christianity are very much alike. the difference risides at the time line. christianity began earlier and covered the land of blood in the name of the "holy book", now islam is doing the same and it's gonna take a while before they behave like modern christians. unfortunately, they have to grow up
The so-called" christian founding fathers" probably didn't want to 'exterminate" people (even though as David Horowitz admits they were engaged in guerilla warfare) is because they had already decided it made much more economic sense for them to set up a system of chattel slavery that would attempt to reduce millions of the their fellow men to the status of animals and sub--humans for generations. Does Mr. Maher's response make sense now that some proper historical context is mentioned ?
"IF YOU ONLY BELIEVE THERE IS ONE GOD"-u cant deny it, u are a muslim! Dont be religius man, be faithfull not an asshole like bill who knows nothing but to offend in order to forget his mental disorder believing nothing but making dumb of himself! those like him lie americans, and the world hates them for their opinion! it's damn bill's opinion, not americans!
@silentAassassine It's the opinion of many Americans, including me. Of course muslimes hate freedom of speech, and I'm sure many of you would like to kill Maher just for expressing himself.
@arraba99 I most certainly an am American, raghead, and believing Israel has a right to exist doesn't make me Jewish anymore than believing Thailand has a right to exist makes me Thai, or that India has a right to exist makes me Indian, or that Filipinos have a right to exist means I'm from the Phillippines. All of us, indeed, all non-muslim countries, are under attack from Islam, and I believe the US government should support and strengthen ties with counties in similar circumstances
Sahi Buchari Hadiths #143, page-700: Sulaiman Ibne Harb…Aannas Ibne Malek (ra) “in the war of Khayber after the inhabitants of Banu Nadir were surrendered, Allah’s apostle killed all the able/adult men, and he (prophet) took all women and children as captives (Ghani mateer maal).. Among the captives Safiyya Bint Huyy Akhtab was taken by Allah’s Apostle as booty whom He married after freeing her and her freedom was her Mahr"
Banu Nadir lived around Medina & had defence pact with Muslims. Not only they broke it, they incited other Arab tribes to attack Muslims & financed 10,000 men army to exterminate Muslims & Mohmmad in battle of Trenches.
After Muslim defeat the Army, they besieged Banu Nadir & expelled them from Medina for their treachery. They moved to Khayper & continued scheming against Muslims.
They were defeated again at Khayper, Muslims applied their own Talmudic law against them
@arraba99 So that makes it ok to take the wives of those you defeat? Even against your most worst enemy, would you justify ethically and morally in your head that it would be ok to take the wife of the man you are slaying?
I'm suggesting here that God would never ever send a man to earth to forcibly take the wife of a man you are killing. And then force this very woman to have sex with you. How on earth could anyone ever ever accept this?
No one was forced to marry anyone, He gave her a choice to marry him as away to consol her for her loss or free her. She chose the honour of marrying him.
It was her life and her choice; why are you getting all upset about it.
@arraba99 I find it so hurtful that people like you would argue that these women consented to marrying the murderers of their husbands.
But I am saying to you, that with a rational critical-thinking mind, I would never ever accept that a woman that had just had her own beloved husband murdered, would then marry the one that had killed him. Possibly if she was made a slave or forced into prostitution she might (which I am implying that she has no option).
@arraba99 Who could say such an utterly terrible thing. If Mohammed was great he wouldn't have even killed the men in the first place let alone raping their wives and taking their children.
No God would ever condone such thing.
What does this mean for humanity, if people want to worship a man that took the women of the men he killed?
What does it mean for humanity if people use violence to force people to worship this kind of individual?
@arraba99 The Quran is a guide for killing non-Muslims. It is being applied as we speak throughout Muslim countries. Look at the massacres of Christians in Nigeria carried out by Muslims last Christmas.
Talmud/OT; Sanhedrin 59a: “ A heathen who studies the Torah deserves death “
The theft of which is regarded as an offence by heathens but not by Jews.
Bammidber raba c 21 Every Jew,who spills the blood of the non-Jews, is doing the same as making a sacrifice to God.''
'For murder, whether of a Cuthean by a Cuthean, or of an Israelite by a Cuthean, punishment is incurred; but of a Cuthean by an Israelite, there is no death penalty'
Quran: (5:32) " … if anyone slays a human being-unless it be [in punishment] for murder or for spreading corruption on earth-it shall be as though he had slain all mankind…”
@arraba99 4:89 They long that ye should disbelieve even as they disbelieve, that ye may be upon a level (with them). So choose not friends from them till they forsake their homes in the way of Allah; if they turn back (to enmity) then take them and kill them wherever ye find them, and choose no friend nor helper from among them
This verse 4:89, refers to the hypocrites who were being treacherous and deceptive to Muslims and caused them great harm. G-d is telling Muslims how to deal with them. I do not know about you, but personally prefer that over Talmud:
Talmud: Sanhedrin: 59a: “A heathen who studies the Torah deserves death“ and
Bammidber raba C1 “Every Jew, who spills the blood of the non-Jews, is doing the same as making a sacrifice to God''
@arraba99 It doesn't say anything about non-believers who are treacherous to muslims, and that's not the way it's interpreted. If you doubt that, watch "Undercover Mosque", which was broadcast on the BBC. As for the Talmud, I'm not aware of any Jews who are trying to have Talmudic law imposed on the west. There are many muslims who want to impose backward Islamic law on us, however. If the west's laws are so repugnant, why do so many muslims want to live here?
@arraba998:59 And let not those who disbelieve suppose that they can outstrip (Allah's Purpose). Lo! they cannot escape.
8:60 Make ready for them all thou canst of (armed) force and of horses tethered, that thereby ye may dismay the enemy of Allah and your enemy, and others beside them whom ye know not. Allah knoweth them.
@arraba998:59 And from Ayatollah Khomeini: "Islam makes it incumbent on all adult males, provided they are not disabled or incapacitated, to prepare themselves for the conquest of [other] countries so that the writ of Islam is obeyed in every country in the world. . . . But those who study Islamic Holy War will understand why Islam wants to conquer the whole world. . . . Those who know nothing of Islam pretend that Islam counsels against war. Those [who say this] are witless."
@arraba998:59 "Islam says: Kill all the unbelievers just as they would kill you all! Does this mean that Muslims should sit back until they are devoured by [the unbelievers]? Islam says: Kill them [the non-Muslims], put them to the sword and scatter [their armies]. Islam says: Kill in the service of Allah those who may want to kill you! Islam says: Whatever good there is exists thanks to the sword and in the shadow of the sword! People cannot be made obedient except with the sword!"
8:60 - It just tells Muslims to be strong & ready for war to deter others from attacking them
This is an accepted & wise deterrent strategy
If Palestinians were well armed Zionists would never take Palestine
If Iraq had a nuclear weapon, USA would never attack: e.g. North Korea
Your Zionist narcissist mind would like a defenceless Muslims/Arabs so “israel” can rein without a real fight as prior to 1973; as they would never fight with an even odd
@arraba99 No, it is preparing for war against non-believers. There was a real fight in both '67 and '73 with Israel, and the towelheads lost, despite the fact Israel was outnumbered. But then muslimes suck at war, as evidenced by the defeats suffered by Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Iraq, and Pakistan.
The only real fights you get, you were beaten badly.
1968 Kramah, 1973 in the Sinai & 2000 Lebanon, 2006 Lebanon. and you failed in Gaza, so you turned on defenceless Civilians.
Without America, you will NOT last few years. Everyone knows except Zionists. And America will part ways with you over the next decade. The corrupt Arab regimes will collapse and you will follow.
@arraba99 9:73 O Prophet! Strive against the disbelievers and the hypocrites! Be harsh with them. Their ultimate abode is hell, a hapless journey's end.
Founder of World wide Jewish organization, Chabad Lubavitch, Rabbi Scheur Zalman
Quoted in the Largest Jewish Newspaper in the USA, The Jewish Week: “Gentile souls are of a completely different & inferior order. They are totally evil… “
“If a Jew needs a liver can you take the liver of an innocent non-Jew passing by to save him?”
“The Torah would probably permit that…There is something infinitely more holy and unique about Jewish life than non-Jewish life.”
I just cited the clear verses but you insist on putting your head in the sand (or dirt in your case); Sorry can not help you with that. You can tak the horse to the water, but you can not make it drink.
But, as I said earlier, you are either speaking out of ignorance or malice, I now know it is the later.
Playwrite George Bernard Shaw On Mohammad & Peace:
The famous English Playwrite George Bernard Shaw, said: “ the world much needs a man with Mohammad’s bright thinking, if a man like Mohammad were to assume, the rule of the modern world, he would succeed in solving its problems bring peace and happiness to it”
Maher serving the kool aid. And a million liberals will drink it.
We just devolved 800 years in this country by subverting the spirit of Magna Carta. Why? Because Islam isn't peaceful and we're too scared to be free. They hate us for our freedom after all.
Check what Michael Scheuer (youtube) says about Muslims not liking America for its freedom, He was in charge of the CIA unit responsible for tracking Bin Laden. Listen for what has to say.
I may not agree with everything he says, but he is one of the most honest person (American) I have heard. Most patriotic American. You can not help but respect him.
Calling every muslim a terrorist is just plain fuckin stupid. If every muslim was on jihad the whole western world would have been turned to dust by now.
MUHAMMED'S EXAMPLE IS STRICTLY FOLLOWED BY MUSLIMS. THAT IS WHY MUSLIMS KILL IN THE NAME OF GOD. IF YOU READ THE QURAN, THE HADITHS YOU'LL SEE THAT MUHAMMED KILLED, LOOTED, TOOK WOMEN AS SEX CAPTIVES, 33:50-52, TOOK ONE FIFTH OF THE BOOTY LIKE A BANDIT, 8:1, 8:41, MARRIED AICHA WHEN SHE WAS 6 AND PENETRATED HER WHEN SHE WAS 9, ETC. MUHAMMED KILLED APOSTATES, STONED ADULTERERS AND PREACHED JIHAD OR AGGRESSION TO EXPAND ISLAM AND TOLD MUSLIMS TO FIGHT TILL ISLAM CONQUERS THE WORLD, 9:29-33
Talking-head meet Islamophobe. The result: several minutes of ignorant hate speech with no analysis, discussion, or counterarguments. Hmm... Do you think someone has an agenda??
@amuslimguy Yes, and they're right, too. The books both have crazy stuff but it's not the books they're comparing, it's the cultures, what's happening on the ground - how many hands amputated, women stoned, that sort of thing.
@aresres Well I'm glad you think non-religious people are just as barbaric if not more than religious ones. Critics of Islam (or their distorted view of it) should look in the mirror and clean up their own house. Crooks and murderers run the world, and you're buying into their contrived, agenda-driven world view. Such hypocrites ppl like you can be..
@amuslimguy yes, we all know that when some govt. loons in country A stone women for adultery, crooks from country B can and will cynically use those horrible images on the teevee to further their own agenda for oil or imperialism or what have you. that doesn't make the loons advocating the stoning - or their instruction manual - defensible in any way. good day to you, sir
@aresres Just so you know: 1) stoning is a RARE thing, therefore it's extremely exaggerated 2) it applies to women AND MEN equally 3) it applies only if there is an Islamic state 4) it applies only in adultery (NOT if unmarried) 6) ACTUAL PENETRATION has to be DIRECTLY WITNESSED by FOUR trustworthy people (thus it has to be a public act of lewdness, not something done privately). 7) stoning was the same in Mosaic jewish law.
Though admittedly harsh, stoning is practically a NON issue.
@amuslimguy@arraba99 "admittedly harsh"? "well put"? rare makes it a non-issue? it shouldn't be in the law books. Sure you put it clearly put but man, you sound like you're defending it. But that aside - my point exactly. There's a lot of messed up stuff in all the books, it's how it's interpreted that counts, be it Shinto or Hindu or whatever. And some stuff is indefensible, like stoning *for adultery*. That four being the magic number thingie applies to rape too, right?
@aresres I gave you 6 reasons why it's a non issue.
Also, stoning is not in the Quran (but it is in other scriptures). But it is part of classic Sharia law; however Sharia law is not immutable; there may be (and have been) times when parts of it are suspended for legitimate reasons.
Muslims are ppl who submit to our Creator and His laws. Who are we to question them (if we conclude they're really His)?
@amuslimguy you talking about the death penalty? for murder, perhaps, but not for adultery. See MrGalt's reply below. A gal in trousers is considered lewd in some places, which is ridiculous. Society has standards for what's permissible in public, that's why you have parental advisory ratings on movies with graphic sex or extreme violence. Adultery is grounds for divorce, and yeah the kids fare better than if, say, the family has to put up with an abusive father.
@aresres Stoning is barbaric, but not roasting someone in an electric chair?
A gal in trousers (if they're tight) might be immodest, but it's not lewd (like having sex in the open). I gave you all the requirements that must be fulfilled for someone to be stoned. Anything less doesn't qualify.
We can debate society standards, but I'm simply telling you what the standard would be in a hypothetical Islamic state. You can choose which society you'd want your children to be raised in.
@amuslimguy it's problematic if you don't question anything in the 'laws', because they include some things that are unacceptable. most people get along just fine saying this and this are not right, without taking everything literally - like for example Rumi or Omar Khayyam. though it's good to know you think sharia law's not immutable.
@aresres Don't confuse unquestioning adherence to God's laws with blind faith or being closed minded.
One must question and reason to come to conclusions about what one thinks is the truth. But once you make up your mind, you have to live by your conclusions. As believing Muslims, we accept God's laws. How can you have any sense in telling YOUR CREATOR:" I don't accept this. I don't want to follow some rules you made, even though I owe my existence to you entirely and you can punish me."??
You're the one to decide what you think is a consistent world view, but there's a simple criterion for whether it's civilized - if someone isn't hurting you physically (touch or sight or sound), you don't hurt him or her. That means they can wear tight jeans but not shine a searchlight into your window.
Here's an idea - how do you know what's written hasn't been distorted, and is what your creator wants? Aren't you accepting it blindly?
@aresres You're arguing for a certain legal system (other than a religious based one that stems from God). That's fine. We can agree to disagree. But your system is at times arbitrary and inconsistent, unless you have no problem with adults consenting to commit suicide, kill each other, do drugs, and other things. Fine.
As for knowing that what's written (the Quran, I assume?) hasn't been distorted, we know this for SURE. Interpretation, though, can vary in some cases.
@amuslimguy yes, the law under which I live is sometimes arbitrary and inconsistent, which is why it is open to change by an elected legislature. some areas are inherently gray, which is why thoughtful people at the pinnacle of their professions spent time discussing, debating and ultimately coming up with comments, which are then voted upon by said elected representatives. Mostly. Sometimes the system itself is flawed due to lobbying etc and we fight to fix it.
@amuslimguy (contd) This is the system which allows people, who are fundamentally built to disagree, to coexist and prosper. If we lived according to literal interpretations of religious texts, including the Quran, we'd've long since left the corporeal world as holy martyrs. Smoking pot, for instance, is a victimless crime, and as such should be legal. Also: how are you SURE?
@aresres Look, if you think being hands-off is always the way to respond to "victimless" societal ills, then be prepared to watch your civilization go to waste.
Every society has a system of values and should have a way to uphold these values, otherwise things usually change for the worse.
While public sex may be "victimless," it threatens the values of society that preserve the family structure, which is vital for the wellbeing of everybody within the society. Likewise with cocaine, etc.
@amuslimguy yeah...under normal circumstances societal values change. Religion has kept them in the dark ages. You talk about beliefs based on"question and reason" and yet your a Muslim. I think you meant "beliefs based on obsolete and barbaric traditions". Then you say "once you make up your mind, you have to live by your conclusions" not true, people alter their conclusions when they realize their wrong. You may not know this but in civilized cultures we refer to this as being open minded.
@guitaHer099 I think you're confused. Once you've analyzed all the available information and come to a conclusion, you stick with it, unless you come across some monumentally new information that would invalidate your conclusion.
My conclusion is that Islam is from God, so I go with it. That's not being closed minded; that's being rational.
"normal circumstances" is not my criteria for how things should be. Some values should never change (honesty, modesty, kindness, and others).
@amuslimguy thinking anything should "never change" is exactly why your close minded.Rationality does not dictate that "The sun "floats" in an orbit around the earth. 21:33" to quote the quran. This is illogical, we know the earth orbits the sun, God should know this too, thus the Quran is not from god, regardless of how illogical the concept of a god is in and of itself. its ironic because your confused, but your too confused to know it.
@guitaHer099 That's not what the verse says. If you want to debate, learn the facts first. Otherwise people might think you're lying. Or they'll think you're a complete moron.
@amuslimguy It is, The implication of the text is that the earths position is fixed while the sun and moon orbit around it. To clarify I know what I posted wasn't a direct quote from the quran, I included the section because I couldn't remember the exact text and I assumed you would look it up.
@amuslimguy (started to type this under the wrong name...) Public lewdness and adultery aren't evil things. Adultery at worst is a broken promise, and a private matter between the parties to the promise. It's not something anyone deserves to die over.
@MrGalt You're okay with public lewdness?? Adultery leads to the destruction of the family, which leads to many social ills (where children and women don't get taken care of). Public lewdness erodes our moral sensibilities which paves the way for more adultery and promiscuity.
Let me ask you something. If two people voluntarily got into a death match, and one person kills the other, should we consider this a private matter since they agreed to try to kill each other? What if this was public?
@amuslimguy Yes. I'm okay with public lewdness. Anything people can do in private they can do in public. End of story. Your moral sensibilities aren't my moral sensibilities. For one thing I care about whether people are hurting one another, not whether they're enjoying one another. Let's be honest here. The real reason you hate the promiscuous girls is they're not being promiscuous with you.
I'm not even going to respond to the Reductio ad absurdum in your second paragraph.
Adultery (& fornication) has causes and leads to many problems including: 1) Murder; 2) sexual diseases; 3) Mixup of blood lines; 4) Uses women sexual objects; 5) Divorce and Broken families; 6) Mental problems – for victims & perpetrators; 7) Moral degeneration.
Do you know how many murders caused by adultery, every year?
@arraba99 If you murder someone, it is NOT the fault of the person you murdered because she displeased you. It is ONLY your own fault. You are showcasing the logic of any abusive man who gives a woman the back of his hand and then says, "Look what you made me do."
I'm okay with bastards. It's not evil to be a bastard. I'm not sure how adultery leads to incest, but it apparently does in your world, so...okay then.
We are not talking about morality of Murder - nothing justifies it. But about the reality that Adultery sometimes lead to murder which happens in the West & elsewhere.
Why assume women being the adulterers & men being the murderers. It is more often men committing adultery & women sometimes retaliate with Murder -although less likely.
If you do not know who your father is, it is possible you may end up in bed with your sister. It actually happened in US & Britain.
@arraba99 More often, but less likely? What are you on about? If you're suggesting in any way that more women murder men for adultery than men murder women for adultery, your claim is ridiculous.
Men by far are more likely to commit adultery and also murder in retaliation. But also that women are less likely to commit adultery but they commit Murder in retaliation, although less likely than men.
Your statement was assuming as if women are committing the adultery and men committing the murder in response. I was just saying that is not the case.
As for adultery leading to incest, that would take a hell of a coincidence. Also, since it was nobody's intention, I don't see the evil of it. A single incidence of incest by the way does little genetic damage. It's the royal families braiding their family trees for centuries that end up with hemophilia. I suspect if people didn't have to lie about parentage because of fear of penalties for sexual impropriety, there would be fewer instances of confused parentage.
My case was that it does happen, and that it is one of many bad consequences of adultery should not be accepted or tolerated as a normal behaviour. It is NOT.
1. I don't know what to say. Murder needs to be addressed as murder.
2. That's cute that you think disease only occurs in the West.
3. Yep. I am.
4. I pity those women who decide to make the switch from Object to Property, but meh...what can you do? Unlike Islam, other religions don't demand a death penalty for apostasy.
5. That's not what society is.
6. Nobody suffers from fornication unless you impose suffering from without.
@arraba99 Lol! Dweeb. You replied to the wrong person, but the guy you thought you were replying to put it rather well. I'm done wasting my time, so adios.
I'm sorry, but i disagree. religion is a matter of choice, it is an opinion, unlike race gender or sexual prefrence which are qualities that are not by choice.
I'm not saying you should insult people because of their religious beliefs, but I'm just wondering, what is it about religioun that makes it more valid than any other opinion?
@xxbluejay21 very true. To make a comparison I can understand I follow My Little Pony. I follow the community to an extent comparable to religion. This is for many reasons that I need not justify to anybody because it is my own opinion and my own interest. Then again, no one complains about the religious people that keep to themselves and no one complains about the religious people that don't preach their beliefs in improper places.
More stringent emission standards, improved safety, and more power-hogging technologies erode strides that can be made in fuel economy. There's always a trade-off in automotive design. That's simple physics; not laziness on the part of designers.
@tgn0010 I didn't say designers were lazy. Car companies won't care until we do, as I said. And if we want "more power-hogging technologies" it's our own fault. I doubt you can only have safety improvements over 20 years of advances if you give up on fuel economy. That's simple car commercial logic.
So much is at stake, right ?

Where did Muhammad hide his super computer? Quran which he claimed was revealed to him in stages by Archangel Gabriel in 23 years time is a perfect mthematically locked book with a prime number 19. Even a single letter or a word or a phrase if added to or deleted from the book destroys the mathematical symmetry: in other words the book becomes corrupted ! A simple calculation with Discrete Combinatorics shows that 640 billions men would require a time of 1000 trillion years to finish the book !

Grave warnings to the arrogant Paul followers.
Jesus said :"But in vain do they worship me"
"On that day many will say to me, “Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many deeds of power in your name?” Then I will declare to them, “I never knew you; go away from me, you evildoers.”

I agree with Bill Maher that freedom of speech is central to our culture, but can we really believe that our culture is somehow more advanced than Muslim culture, when we cannot all agree to making one small exception, in that one small matter of respecting their prophet?
Is it advanced to keep insisting that we have the right to say whatever we like, even if it is deeply hurtful to our neighbours, and we have so little to gain from expressing it anyway?
mandanusuarios 2 weeks ago
Quran on freedom of belief:
Quran: 109:3-5: “…And I will not worship that which you have [ever] worshipped; and neither will you [ever] worship that which I worship; Unto you, your moral law, and unto me, mine”
2:256 “There is no compulsion in religion. The right direction is henceforth distinct from error…”
Belief is a personal choice & should be respected but not necessarily accepted by others. But profaning & mocking people belief in specific or general terms, begets response in kind

Jewish Talmud: Sanhedrin: 59a: “A heathen who studies the Torah deserves death“
You are killed JUST for reading Talmud.
No you may NOT leave your faith in the creator (Islam) when you grow up. A Muslim is counselled repeatedly before punishment.
Treason, which is significantly lesser offence than apostasy is punishable by death in most if not all cultures, religious or not.

@arraba99 More fairy tales. You have never heard of anyone being executed for reading the Talmud, because that never happens. If I reverse the words and replaced Jews with non-Jews, world Zionist Jews would asking for my head. Why is this immoral hypocrisy?

Sharia law explicitly commands the killing of apostates, homosexuals, the stoning of "unfaithful" (raped) women, and this actually happens in the real world, not just in the books (fairy tales for ignorants).

How on earth could anyone ever ever accept this?
energylots 1 month ago

No one was forced to marry anyone, He gave her a choice to marry him as away to consol her for her loss or free her. She chose the honour of marrying him.
It was her life and her choice; why are you getting all upset about it.
arraba99 1 month ago
@arraba99 I find it so hurtful that people like you would argue that these women consented to marrying the murderers of their husbands.
But I am saying to you, that with a rational critical-thinking mind, I would never ever accept that a woman that had just had her own beloved husband murdered, would then marry the one that had killed him. Possibly if she was made a slave or forced into prostitution she might (which I am implying that she has no option).

What does it mean for humanity if people use violence to force people to worship this kind of individual?

@arraba99 It doesn't say anything about non-believers who are treacherous to muslims, and that's not the way it's interpreted. If you doubt that, watch "Undercover Mosque", which was broadcast on the BBC. As for the Talmud, I'm not aware of any Jews who are trying to have Talmudic law imposed on the west. There are many muslims who want to impose backward Islamic law on us, however. If the west's laws are so repugnant, why do so many muslims want to live here?

We just devolved 800 years in this country by subverting the spirit of Magna Carta. Why? Because Islam isn't peaceful and we're too scared to be free. They hate us for our freedom after all.

Check what Michael Scheuer (youtube) says about Muslims not liking America for its freedom, He was in charge of the CIA unit responsible for tracking Bin Laden. Listen for what has to say.
I may not agree with everything he says, but he is one of the most honest person (American) I have heard. Most patriotic American. You can not help but respect him.

@amuslimguy Yeah you have an agenda against civilization.
Ducky888888 1 month ago
@amuslimguy Yes, and they're right, too. The books both have crazy stuff but it's not the books they're comparing, it's the cultures, what's happening on the ground - how many hands amputated, women stoned, that sort of thing.
aresres 1 month ago
@aresres right. how many nuclear bombs dropped, wars started based on lies, millions of civillians killed.. that kind of thing.
amuslimguy 1 month ago
@amuslimguy yeah let's be proud that there're some things religious wacko's *don't* get credit for. setting high standards, anyone?
aresres 1 month ago
@aresres Well I'm glad you think non-religious people are just as barbaric if not more than religious ones. Critics of Islam (or their distorted view of it) should look in the mirror and clean up their own house. Crooks and murderers run the world, and you're buying into their contrived, agenda-driven world view. Such hypocrites ppl like you can be..
amuslimguy 1 month ago
@amuslimguy yes, we all know that when some govt. loons in country A stone women for adultery, crooks from country B can and will cynically use those horrible images on the teevee to further their own agenda for oil or imperialism or what have you. that doesn't make the loons advocating the stoning - or their instruction manual - defensible in any way. good day to you, sir
aresres 1 month ago
@aresres Just so you know: 1) stoning is a RARE thing, therefore it's extremely exaggerated 2) it applies to women AND MEN equally 3) it applies only if there is an Islamic state 4) it applies only in adultery (NOT if unmarried) 6) ACTUAL PENETRATION has to be DIRECTLY WITNESSED by FOUR trustworthy people (thus it has to be a public act of lewdness, not something done privately). 7) stoning was the same in Mosaic jewish law.
Though admittedly harsh, stoning is practically a NON issue.
amuslimguy 1 month ago
@amuslimguy
Well put.
arraba99 1 month ago
@amuslimguy @arraba99 "admittedly harsh"? "well put"? rare makes it a non-issue? it shouldn't be in the law books. That four being the magic number thingie applies to rape too, right?
aresres 1 month ago
@aresres I gave you 6 reasons why it's a non issue.
Rape is a different matter, FYI.
Btw, do you defend frying ppl in electric chairs?
amuslimguy 1 month ago
@amuslimguy you talking about the death penalty? for murder, perhaps, but not for adultery. See MrGalt's reply below. A gal in trousers is considered lewd in some places, which is ridiculous. Society has standards for what's permissible in public, that's why you have parental advisory ratings on movies with graphic sex or extreme violence. Adultery is grounds for divorce, and yeah the kids fare better than if, say, the family has to put up with an abusive father.
aresres 1 month ago
@aresres Stoning is barbaric, but not roasting someone in an electric chair?
A gal in trousers (if they're tight) might be immodest, but it's not lewd (like having sex in the open). I gave you all the requirements that must be fulfilled for someone to be stoned. Anything less doesn't qualify.
We can debate society standards, but I'm simply telling you what the standard would be in a hypothetical Islamic state. You can choose which society you'd want your children to be raised in.
amuslimguy 1 month ago
@amuslimguy it's problematic if you don't question anything in the 'laws', because they include some things that are unacceptable. most people get along just fine saying this and this are not right, without taking everything literally - like for example Rumi or Omar Khayyam. though it's good to know you think sharia law's not immutable.
aresres 1 month ago
@aresres Don't confuse unquestioning adherence to God's laws with blind faith or being closed minded.
One must question and reason to come to conclusions about what one thinks is the truth. But once you make up your mind, you have to live by your conclusions. As believing Muslims, we accept God's laws. How can you have any sense in telling YOUR CREATOR:" I don't accept this. I don't want to follow some rules you made, even though I owe my existence to you entirely and you can punish me."??
amuslimguy 1 month ago
@amuslimguy
Aren't you accepting it blindly?
aresres 1 month ago 2
@aresres You're arguing for a certain legal system (other than a religious based one that stems from God). That's fine. We can agree to disagree. But your system is at times arbitrary and inconsistent, unless you have no problem with adults consenting to commit suicide, kill each other, do drugs, and other things. Fine.
As for knowing that what's written (the Quran, I assume?) hasn't been distorted, we know this for SURE. Interpretation, though, can vary in some cases.
amuslimguy 1 month ago
@amuslimguy yes, the law under which I live is sometimes arbitrary and inconsistent, which is why it is open to change by an elected legislature. some areas are inherently gray, which is why thoughtful people at the pinnacle of their professions spent time discussing, debating and ultimately coming up with comments, which are then voted upon by said elected representatives. Mostly. Sometimes the system itself is flawed due to lobbying etc and we fight to fix it.
aresres 1 month ago
@amuslimguy (contd) This is the system which allows people, who are fundamentally built to disagree, to coexist and prosper. If we lived according to literal interpretations of religious texts, including the Quran, we'd've long since left the corporeal world as holy martyrs. Smoking pot, for instance, is a victimless crime, and as such should be legal. Also: how are you SURE?
aresres 1 month ago
@aresres Look, if you think being hands-off is always the way to respond to "victimless" societal ills, then be prepared to watch your civilization go to waste.
Every society has a system of values and should have a way to uphold these values, otherwise things usually change for the worse.
While public sex may be "victimless," it threatens the values of society that preserve the family structure, which is vital for the wellbeing of everybody within the society. Likewise with cocaine, etc.
amuslimguy 1 month ago
@amuslimguy yeah...under normal circumstances societal values change. Religion has kept them in the dark ages. You talk about beliefs based on"question and reason" and yet your a Muslim. I think you meant "beliefs based on obsolete and barbaric traditions". Then you say "once you make up your mind, you have to live by your conclusions" not true, people alter their conclusions when they realize their wrong. You may not know this but in civilized cultures we refer to this as being open minded.
guitaHer099 1 month ago
@guitaHer099 I think you're confused. Once you've analyzed all the available information and come to a conclusion, you stick with it, unless you come across some monumentally new information that would invalidate your conclusion.
My conclusion is that Islam is from God, so I go with it. That's not being closed minded; that's being rational.
"normal circumstances" is not my criteria for how things should be. Some values should never change (honesty, modesty, kindness, and others).
amuslimguy 1 month ago
@amuslimguy thinking anything should "never change" is exactly why your close minded.Rationality does not dictate that "The sun "floats" in an orbit around the earth. 21:33" to quote the quran. This is illogical, we know the earth orbits the sun, God should know this too, thus the Quran is not from god, regardless of how illogical the concept of a god is in and of itself. its ironic because your confused, but your too confused to know it.
guitaHer099 1 month ago
@guitaHer099 That's not what the verse says. If you want to debate, learn the facts first. Otherwise people might think you're lying. Or they'll think you're a complete moron.
amuslimguy 1 month ago
@amuslimguy It is, The implication of the text is that the earths position is fixed while the sun and moon orbit around it. To clarify I know what I posted wasn't a direct quote from the quran, I included the section because I couldn't remember the exact text and I assumed you would look it up.

@amuslimguy (started to type this under the wrong name...) Public lewdness and adultery aren't evil things. Adultery at worst is a broken promise, and a private matter between the parties to the promise. It's not something anyone deserves to die over.
MrGalt 1 month ago

MrGalt 1 month ago
@MrGalt
Do you know how many murders caused by adultery, every year?
arraba99 1 month ago
@arraba99
1. Murder is the crime, not the adultery. Learn not to murder people because you're angry with them.
2. No more than other sex.
3. Who cares?
4. Nope.
5. Yeah, sometimes. And sometimes families SHOULD get broken.
6. No such thing as a "fornication victim." Try again.
7. That's not what morality is.
If you murder somebody because she cheated on you, she wasn't the criminal in your relationship. I'm really sorry I have to explain this.
MrGalt 1 month ago
@MrGalt
1: Read your Newspapers & listen to News
2: Read stats on spreading of sexual diseases in West
3: Ok with being bastard? Ok with possibly sleeping with your sister Unknowingly
4: Women Care, 70% of Western Muslim converts are women. Cite sexual objectifying as one reason
5: Thus Western broken society & downfall
6: Women suffer more but also men - Broken marriages later
7: Breaking contract; deceiving/cheating; lying; also may lead to murder. Not moral degeneration! what is?
arraba99 1 month ago
@arraba99 If you murder someone, it is NOT the fault of the person you murdered because she displeased you. It is ONLY your own fault. You are showcasing the logic of any abusive man who gives a woman the back of his hand and then says, "Look what you made me do."
I'm okay with bastards. It's not evil to be a bastard. I'm not sure how adultery leads to incest, but it apparently does in your world, so...okay then.
MrGalt 1 month ago
@MrGalt
It actually happened in US & Britain.
arraba99 1 month ago
@arraba99 More often, but less likely? What are you on about? If you're suggesting in any way that more women murder men for adultery than men murder women for adultery, your claim is ridiculous.

I thought my statement was clear.
But let me restate again.
Men by far are more likely to commit adultery and also murder in retaliation. But also that women are less likely to commit adultery but they commit Murder in retaliation, although less likely than men.
Your statement was assuming as if women are committing the adultery and men committing the murder in response. I was just saying that is not the case.
I hope it is clear, now.
arraba99 1 month ago
@arraba99
MrGalt 1 month ago
@MrGalt
My case was that it does happen, and that it is one of many bad consequences of adultery should not be accepted or tolerated as a normal behaviour. It is NOT.
arraba99 1 month ago
@arraba99 Let's keep using numbers...
7. Hahaha.
MrGalt 1 month ago
@arraba99 1. Your point?
2. Read stats on spreading the same in the rest of the planet. The public stand of a certain religious body in Africa is a horrible, horrible example.
3. Also, bizarre speculation does not support your argument.
This might solve all your problems: google "wiki condom"
4. Ask the women who want to leave it, or at least your literal interpretation of it. Look at the numbers.
The rest: see above.
aresres 1 month ago
@aresres
You said "1. Your point?"
2: Thanks to West for spreading these (but on all) corrupted values
3: What Speculation? how about faithfulness instead of condoms!!!

More stringent emission standards, improved safety, and more power-hogging technologies erode strides that can be made in fuel economy. There's always a trade-off in automotive design. That's simple physics; not laziness on the part of designers.
tgn0010 1 month ago
@tgn0010 I didn't say designers were lazy. Car companies won't care until we do, as I said. And if we want "more power-hogging technologies" it's our own fault. I doubt you can only have safety improvements over 20 years of advances if you give up on fuel economy. That's simple car commercial logic.
