well, this galaxy IS deep... and dark... but yea the planets really don't fit.

if you kill the Blue Crab it gives you an extra life. there is a life in the water inside the chest. also if you kill the 2 stumping things that look like a little bag, it gives you enough starbits for an extra life

@Superpapermariofreek Which extra mission? If you mean "Boo in a Box," go to the very bottom of the water and toss a shell into one of the mines that forms a circle. It'll blow a hole in the ocean floor and create a Launch Star to get to where you need.

there is a shorter way where you dont have to use flame mario to get where you need to go. i found out that if you just go in the cannon and go to the far left, you can soot yourself to the beginning of the lake. its a little faster :)

You are kidding me. I could not work out how to open the gate (which of course seems really obvious now i've seen you do it) and ended up completing this level by firing myself out of the cannon to the extreme left of the screen and after many attempts making it over the cliffs to the water on the other side

Heh, one stage in Sonic Heroes abused the "light the torches to open gates" video game trope, so I can recognize torches immediately now.

Deep Dark seems to be mostly about figuring out what to make of your surroundings, and I can understand if the torch didn't seem obvious at first. Believe me, I overlook obvious things all the time.

Aw...you should've long jumped around the deflating planet when it was small enough. Anyway, one of my friends and I thought they should've made an homage to Super Mario Bros. 3; you notice how the Kamek's wand looks like the ones the Koopalings had in SMB3? They should've had Mario catch those like in the good ol' days.

Deep Dark galaxy is boring, the mission I hated the most in this galaxy was the Purple Coins mission. It took me bloody ages to find every single coin, and I was tiring out when I was struggling to find the last 3 coins. :/

There wasn't even many enemies in the Purple Coins mission, only the Boos and the giant jellyfish. It just took me a while finding all the coins.

There's the platform at the top of the ship. Under it are three coins, if I recall. It took me forever to find those ones.
