I never really liked Australian Idol, but I came upon Lisa Mitchell by accident on it when I was channel surfing. She ended up being the only person on it that I ever liked, and I stopped watching as soon as she was voted off. Lisa Mitchell was too good for idol, she actually had talent, just like Matt Corby. It was a good thing she didn't win!

She did a very nice job on this song. And I wish people would stop for a second to fully read or listen to what they are hearing, before they start going off with their rude comments. Because it was CLEARLY stated that Lisa was singing a song by Coldplay

@m2mfan4eva Do you need to have strength or passion in your voice to sing? Of course not. That's just your music taste, but there are a lot of good singers with more fragile voices. I think Lisa has a really sweet and beautiful voice :)

Of course you need passion in your voice. Lisa Mitchell sounds like an emotionless washboard - bored, even. Does she even care about music? All her songs sound the same, and she is UTTERLY overrated. It's not my music taste, no taste is involved in this. Her voice is so weak - not fragile - and so plain. To her, she just stepped up to fame at a young age, so did not work for it. Have you heard the judges comments? No wonder she doesn't feel like she needs to work hard.

@m2mfan4eva no, I didn't hear the judges comments. I only discovered Lisa thursday, so I don't know anything about her xD But I like her songs and voice, from what I've heard now. Maybe her voice is weak and plain, but I think it just has a certain beauty in it. Maybe you like stronger voices, but I actually don't like strong voices.

But well, I don't really wanna discuss about this, I'm not even a fan, since I only know about her for 2 days xD

Just because you dont like her voice, doesnt mean that her voice is plain. And just because her voice isnt "strong" as your opinion says, doesnt mean she doesnt work hard. Thats just blind judgement, pure ignorance, and is a completely unfair assessment towards her as an artist.
