Work fast make mistakes. Go slow and look like a pro. Great job kid. Reminds me of me at that age although no axus system. Had the 245 sundancer pops had.
At least she hasn't been all liquored up like alot of 16+ boaters are, and look! She's concentrating on the task at hand -unlike alot of cell-phone using and over-confident adult boaters!
I had my son doing snow donuts in an empty parking lot @13 so he'd get an idea as to what to expect with the real laws of physics, outside of the X-box! Sure this may in fact be incriminating footage, but not.. really..The 'setting' would allow for such to be regarded as a very well-monitored learning day.
Teach her how to dock without the jostick.... nothing special about docking a boat with Axius or a Pod..... when i was at her age there were no such gimmicks... only twin engines...
Good job, kid. Joystick or not, she's still just 10 years old. Most are playing with Barbies and sh'e docking a 32' SeaRay. The only bad thing about joysticks is that when the adults get on a boat without them, they won't have a clue how do dock, espicially in crosswind or current.
To bad so many adults will never learn how to dock without a joystick--although it is kind of amusing to watch..as long as they aren't trying to tie up next to the boat I am on.
@fireman431 My father taught me how to dock with just the propulsion. Fwd/Rev and throttle. 87' Carver 32' Convertible. Still good to see a young lass able to dock a boat properly at a young age.
Jmags is a pilgrim. Boat main haul ass propulsion wasnt doing the haul ass here. Jmags, you are talking bout a subject of which you know nothing. Adults were there to control the situation. Kids on the farm are expected to run farm large equipment responsibly at an early age, why not a boat under adult supervision?
great job ,,hey jmags25 your a idiot ,,thats why kids now a days dont know how to do shit other than sit there fat asses around watching tv and stuffing there face cause parents dont let them grow up and learn new things and arent EMPOWRED TO BE MORE great job little girl and bravo toyour daddy for teaching you ,
you know what is a lot easier, GOING BOW FIRST INTO THE DOCK! go bow first and then turn into the dock and go in reverse. a lot easier then taking 10 minutes to use a fucking joystick.

Another perfect example of a person with more money then brains. A child should never be in charge of a boat that big, with that much horse power. I don't care how well you THINK you've trained her. No matter how calm the water is. When they panic, it's going to cause injury! Do yourself a favor and buy her a row boat.
@Jmags25 shut up dickface you are such an overprotective bitch who shouldnt be butting into ppls buisniss like that if they let there kids drive these big boats thats none of your buisness you seriousley need to get a life the telling strangers wat to do
@SuperDivefreak so what standing behind the wheel doesnt count and im sure i have a ton pics of me driving boats at 5 and my own 8ft ranger with a 3hp was my first boat that was all mine take out when ever i wanted by myself. give the a kid break GOOD JOB SYDNEY

my 10 year old doesn't have her own boat yet, I'm waiting till she's 11 to buy her one. I think that's a more responsible age to be a skipper.

Anyone hard bump a dock....... Those that have boated for years will know what I mean.
Even if it was done with modtec it was a good dock. God I love the Joy stick feature now. How did we ever do without it.
