  • Nice one, just walking along the top of Stanage without being blown of your feet is tough enough at the best of times, there must be a load of places across the gritsone edges that you could span a rope and this would be a hoot, How about the stinky pond at Lawencefield?

  • where is here?

  • what the hell is wrong with you people, i bet 99.9% of you all couldnt do that 2 feet off the floor without slipping and cracking your balls! im looking into how to set up a highline, if anyone can help me, please reply to this comment :) thanks

  • That looks like something i could do in my back yard and save myself the trouble of climbing a few thousand feet and hooking in. Then again, I don't have many girls in my backyard yelling 'woo hoo' after I cross the gap.

  • nicely done. I'm still working hard on a low short slackline, and that is a LOT harder than it looks, although clearly the haters on here have never tried. Respect for the highline, I'll get there one day.

  • why do some people have to be abusive about this type of thing. He puts no one at risk but himself, he is not really risking the emergency services having to come out, he is doing nothing but facing his fear and conquering it with courage and skill. Those of you who make the type of comment such as "why don't you just jump off the mountain" or "what a pussy" should examine your own lives and see what you have done you are proud of. Good on yer mate, keep it up

  • the line getting hung up has got to get annoying sometimes. Great job!!!!!

  • Take the safety line off you pussy

  • @councilglasses You go do it (without safety). Then the world would have one less moron.

  • @councilglasses fucn stupid. jump of a mountain

  • @GroofinNuN your abit of a dick arnt ya you fuckin jealous prick

  • @councilglasses Will you do it without the safety line ?

  • Congrats! That was insane! I couldn't do that 1 foot from the ground with no wind...

  • harness makes this a worthless vid :)

  • a lot of people commenting here are missing a point but when you under take anything like this ie slack-lining , rock climbing , etc etc you do it for one reason an thats because its personal to you and its about personal limits and breaking those limits , limits in fear limits in ability , fitness what ever unlike other sports ive tried this isnt about beating anything more than yourself , the guy in the clip has my utmost respect for his ability an bravness , safety line , helmet regardless

  • at .29 seconds he very clearly grabs his sling attaching him to the slackline. that is the same as pulling on climbing gear to help you through a difficult section, its cheating!

this cant be called an onsight if you pull on gear to stop you from falling.

  • @jimbojims Talking silly mate, it's dragging at him and he's pulling it up. How can pulling on something in line with his feet aid his balance?

  • @jimbojims wow, use your brain a little more and stop degrading someone who has better accomplishments than you. it's not stopping him from falling, it's connecting him to the slackline so IF he falls its only a few feet. the reason he pulls it is because it lags too far behind him and it is throwing him off balance.

  • Is it just me? Or does anyone else think safety lines are stupid. Extreme stunts like this are extreme BECAUSE they are dangerous. People are too soft. Life isnt fun without a little danger. You gotta get out and feel the fear of dying but then be able to confront your fear and conquer the challenge. Without any fear or risk... there is no challenge, its just "whoops I fell... just gotta climb back up and try again". But i digress. This is just my personal opinion.

  • Are you retarded? There is a high percentage that you will fall and then what? YOU DIE! So then there are no second chances at facing your fears.

  • @gfunkonthecheesetree EXCACTLY thats the whole point! Accept that theres risk and conquer it.

If your smart youll start out small and work your way up to doing more difficult things.

  • @gfunkonthecheesetree theres a safety so hows theres a chance to die?

  • @deaftodd um the line could snap. Its happened to me before.

  • @EwanNexus1994 Then obviously you should look into either setting up your lines better or purchasing better ropes.

  • Ever heard of Dan Osman? He died because he free climbed without safety ropes and he was a professional.

  • I take that back, Dan Osman died from a free fall and the rope snapped. Guess I'm the retard now, right? lolz. Plus, I'm posting comments on a Friday night, I need to get a life, lolz.

  • @taekwondoman12345 Its already dangerous even with the saftey line. Its only "woops i fell just gotta climb back up and try again" if nothing goes wrong. I take it you have done it without the saftey line? "conquered the challenge"?

  • The hole thing im like WTF cuz i wasnt paying attetion to his back then he got on the pad and i saw it :P

  • amazing indeed that would take courage

  • that rope didnt look too tight ay?

    well done i say!

  • like the helmet nice touch......lol...well done that man...

  • crazy..

  • wow.. you have good balance.

  • petey..dont see the strap on the back of him?

  • what the hell is the helmet gonna do if you fall lol!

  • Prevent you from cracking your head open on a rock if you swing from the safety line.

  • hahah. Yah

  • go on then..

  • hehehe slackrope walking...fun fun, i would be shitting myself

  • braver than me !!!!

  • that bekay ring really disturbs him.

  • I'd have to do this naked, because i'd be shitting on myself all the way across.

  • that's unreal, wow.

  • if how tough anchors i don`ts do that.

  • *SNAP* Falls down

  • that guy has some realy good balance!

  • What was that about a 10ft slackline? Pushin' the limits bro! Haha =)

  • woah!

  • retard comment

  • nice

  • that's nuck'n futz!!!

  • im iron-worker but this dude has cojones

  • *push*

  • Epic WIN!

  • Cool! Looks like your leash is a bit too short. A longger one will slide better and you won't get that bind. Cheers, Ammon

  • Crazy wind on that walk, I just did my first succesful highline walk in Squamish.

  • How cool is that. Probably just run of the mill to you but raelly good to watch. thx. Bet it starts a new trend in the Peak.
