That is a very bad idea to make the track go that fast while on a lift!. My friend almost lost his leg, because the (picked) track slipped off and hit his legs.. Especially when your track is that loose!
i had both. This doesn't have the WOT loud like the mbrp but is still loud enough to know it isnt stock. It would be a fine line but i know where i live any modification whatsoever even if its quieter is still illegal. This can is actually for sale right now if ur interested.
well im pretty sure u wont get a can thats legal because most go over the decabal rating unless its a quit can but it will be just like the one your machine has anyways but what is the limit on the dec up there cause in wisconsin it came down more but who cares bout the law
@nachos1990 I have the MBRP trail version on my ZR 900. It's not as loud as the race version but has a nice growl to it and performs well. You would prbly be ok with that. I've had no tickets with mine. they are cracking down on that in my area too.
I wouldn't recommend it. There is no opposing force to go against the track. Its alright to give it a few burps but wouldn't hold it WOT for more than a second.
On mine it was under the seat at the front between the beginning of the seat and the gas tank. Kinda of have to full the front of the seat back to see it and reach in there to yank it out.
my 04 is a standard 128 inch track, but i have 2 inch paddles, wanna talk about hooking up,i have to becareful not to flip it backwards when i take off.,it's a rush.
it came with the sled when i bought it,so it might be custom made or maybe they can be bought like that ,..im not to sure ,but like i said,i have too be aespecially careful when taking off on hard pack.
I have a older 03 snopro f7 with the same exhaust as the guy in the video and I love it. I dragged it in the local drags and i took the 700 stock and mod 800 stock and mod ! But I have also Heard alot of good things about the Revs
lol..sory bud, they wouldnt let you in a stock 700 class..i have a jaws can on my 440 sno pro, and only can race a mod 440 with it, or mod 5,6,7,8 no stock classes with a can, one f7 guy got kicked out for cheating in stock class (canned). nice try though.
Well They go on horse power at these drags so aslong as your in a certain area of horse they will let you ride the cc's really have nothing to do with it. they just have them for the class name because there is not alot of sleds so they also cannot have a 4 stroke classes by them selves so they go on hp!
Now I know you are lying because I own an F7 and I know for a fact it is a 128" track, i just put a new one on last weekend. Telling me to look it up... Take your own advice.
naw im good, i know its a 121" on all them, 2003, a 2004, and another 2003 sno pro f7 he has, and there all 121", the f6's, f5, and 440 (06) are all the same, 03-05 f series are all the same kidd.
Arctic cat site clearly says 13.5 x 128" x 1" for standard models 13.5 x 128" x 1 3/8 for sno pro models. You have no idea what you are talking about.
yeah mhm ok, im right i know it, your just a kid, so im gunna be the bigger man and walk away, and p.s, the snow pro is alot more of a paddle than 3/8, thats not even 1.5 yet, so, LOL what a loooserrrr. peace out cunt.
See there is someone else who proved you wrong. By Sno pro I meant F7's with sno pro option had a 1 3/8 track, some sno pro 440's had 1.7 tracks. And you calling me just some kid? You're 15. Shut your mouth, Grow up, admit you were wrong. p.s. your an idiot.
wow AAHAHAHAHA I can't belive your STILL going on about this, we obviously can see who the real "Idiot" really is here, well what ever, Im gunna be the bigger person and leave this conversation, because it is hopeless, and goes nowhere considering you have a brain of a 10 year old by the looks of things. P.S, people like you, really show me how much of a life I really have compared to you No-Life, Low-Lifes. Peace out.
No-Life, Low-Life, is that what they are saying in grade 8 now? My life is Work, Mx, and snowmobiles. Nice job keeping up on my post too, seems like you are always on youtube or something... If you knew anything about snowmobiles you would shut up. And your last reply made no sense.
WOW and me leaving was just to prove that a typical looser like yourself would reply to my latest reply, well you've truly showed how much of a looser you are, motocross? Let me see your vids, your probably one of those nerds that sit infront of a computer screen trying to argue on youtube because you have nothing, typical looser if i dont say so myself.
yeah i think you should go with a smaller track to get better performance out of you sled.......cuz i have seen blet's like that come off, not pritty at all. so my advice is get a smaller track....oh and nice sled my the way
a 2 stroke makes more power because it makes power every stroke. a 4 stroke revs higer but has to have doulbe the CC's than a 2 stroke to make the same power.
d&d's make a good sound. Not that loud obnoxious sound, but like a weird tone. I like them a lot. a buddy of mine has a d&d can on his 05 f6, sounds really good.
i have same sled except its an f5, broke my arm on it 2 weeks ago and i was thinkin about putin dual exhaust out the back under neath the running boards but then id need 2 expansion chambers + 2 cans and cut a biger hole where the exhaust is and run them underneath the running boards

track is supposed to sag a certain amount, you can just see it more when its up in the air.... its fine. you don't want your track too tight or too loose....
dude buy "the thing". I know a guy with M7 and a D&D can also and i'd hate to break it to you but that sounds like shit..... D&D sucks, theres too much muffling thats the only reason why Arctic Cat retailers sell them.
Tighten your track man
