The guy who designed the characters on this show worked on godzilla the series too so what ever happend to the guy who did the character designs for these shows does he or she still works.

@Inkbleedful The designer is called Miguelanxo Prado, it's a galician artist  (Galicia= a region from north of Spain). He has made comic books and designed the character of the main kid's tv show of Galicia; he has also created a silent animated movie called "De profundis". I think his movie is incredible, but it's not for everyone.
