Don't use that book; it's not in depth as other prep books are. Use Barron's SAT or KAPLAN SAT 2400. Just a recommendation :)

Um...the "official" guide isn't going to tell you REAL sat test strategies, simply because the people who wrote the book write the test. They want you to be average, not exceptional. No I didn't get a 2400, I got a 2360, but the Princeton review is loads better than anything CollegeBoard is going to tell you, retarded Indian.

I am sure we are all aware that there really is significant difference in test scores (200) for miniscule differences in academic strength. The admissions officers are also very aware of this. As a result, as long as test scores are "high enough" (2250+), then there is NO difference in admission chances.

Although prep books and programs are great they are too expensive. What helped me most on the PSAT/SAT/ACT was repetition. I came across this app called SAT Daily on the android. It is immensely helpful. It's new, but I downloaded it and was amazed. It gives you new question, new vocabulary word DAILY& new tip weekly. This kind of constant exposure really helps. I'm sure it will boost your score on SAT/ACT as well. I scored in the top 2 percent. Search SAT Daily in the android market.Trust me.

The SAT practice book is honestly a terrible study guide compared to the Princeton Review Guide. Let's face it, guys, the SAT test as a whole is a load of bullshit and it really doesn't prove anything about whether or not your smart or good at academics.
