  • You should thank to Pol Pot. Without him, Cambodia will no long exist. The whole Cambodia will be Vietnam.

  • wow this is so sad doesnt matter if the genocide passed the victimes still live on with those horrible memories :(

  • humans are fucking pathetic for doing things like that to each other

and i feel sorry for the old man

  • this is so heartless and cold, how can this happen to our people!

  • it broke my heart to see the man cry for everything he lost. when we think of victims we often don't consider those who still grieve.

  • I am so pity with this old man, he lived without everything even his child, wife and everything...but he stil try to survivei am so proud of him...i know that inside he hurt so much..

  • the pain is so intense.

  • I just cant begin to begin the pain these people are suffering. We humans. Will we ever learn anything.

  • Your not allowed to speak of the past... The Khmer Rouge planned a Mass Killing.. The numbers killed were in Millions.. Not to mention 5+ million of Un Mapped Land Mines... These assholes really wanted to wipe Cambodia out... No Bullets just straight Pain... Slow Death is the best Death ....

  • I agree with almost everyone; this is such a powerful and moving documentary. Many, many thanks to you for opening the eyes of so many people.

  • Many times I've hear the argument that Atheist are the most peaceful social group. They all must suck at history.

  • Omg 9 min. 20... PLEASE BE MORE CAREFUL with historic evidence!!!

  • 2:40

    POOR OLD MAN...

  • asianr0se shut up the reason y tehy do that is because of the khmer rouge if it werent for them they would never have done that how would you feel if all this happened to you

  • @asianr0se: "These khmer people are disgusting..."

So you're what, Viet? Lao? Chinese maybe? Of course you think this way of the Khmer. And the Chinese, Lao, Khmers think the same of you. Indochina is such a shithole....

  • asianrose is thai.

  • @uglyengineer I second that

  • asianr0se-You are a joke. Teaching children to hate? a disgrace? biting the hands that feed them? what makes you say that? You think you're better?

  • @asianrose: Ok buddy. Bite who's hand? I know it aint you thai faggot. It the other way around. Stop twisting shit around, like when you faggot claim that Preah Vihear and Angkor Wat was built by you thai queer.

  • I'm Norwegian. There is this photograph of the most prominent Norwegian radical socialist shaking hands with Khmer Rouge, Pol Pot himself, smiling and looking so happy. Lots of people in my country supported this human excrement, without ever have had to answer for it.

  • yeah... my girlfriend mentioned the same thing when we're watching this together.. :S....

  • Thats so fucked up. And to think, the leaders who did all of this to these poor people are still alive and well. They were never found or punished because the U.S. helped the Khmer Rouge.

  • You need a history lesson.

  • first off, there isn't too much direct evidence prooving any US funded "proxy war" to take Sihanouk out of power, BUT you should also realize that currently we admit helping VIETNAM in 79 to get Pol Pot out, where he eventually fled to Thailand, running the Khmer Rouge as a resistance group until his DEATH in 1998 you dumbass

  • I don´t know if the USA financed Pol Pot, but Nixon did help the Khmer Rouge into power. He bombed Cambodia almost out of existance, and for no reason at all. Someone who worked with him admited he was drunk when he ordered the bombing. I don´t remember who. Kissinger, I think.

  • Who's crappier as president, Nixon or George W. Bush? 0_0

  • You can easily make the argument that the US indirectly helped the Khmer Rouge gain power. I see where you're coming from though. So no need to debate.
