Exactly, if you look at all of Ginobili's dunks on people, he gets fouled and 98% of the time the refs dont call the foul.

Yup. My guess is that the mistake is caused because the team Manu played for before going to the Spurs was Kinder Bologna from Italy. So, people think he's Italian. Kinda Italian last name, Ginobili, huh? Anyway, people should get thir facts right before speaking about something.

Yeah. His last name can be a little deceiving.. but then again, same thing applies to every single person in Argentina. Just look at his teammates on the national team: Nocioni, Oberto, Scola, Prigioni, and so on.

Yeah cherny. I'm Argentine, so I'm not supposed to be mistaken about Manu lol. N wut u say is true. We've had our share of immigrants here. 1850 thru 1950, (besides of course, the "colonizing missions" from Spain in the early 1500's). Mostly Spanish and Italian. So it's not strange that our last names derive from there. Mine's Raimundo. So go figure!
