@firedtunes He plays on the street because he is a busker (street musician) and that is his lifestyle. He has played on the streets all over the World for the last 30 years.

This man is Gerd G. Kettel,
one of the greatest street musicians I´ve seen & heard. Take a look at his youtube vids (user: "geegeekettel").
He uses to play with his 18 yo daughter Soluna in summer on European streets/festivals. In winter he enjoys the sun of Guatemala.
