Ron Paul got 43% of Independent vote in Iowa, he has tremendous cross-platform support, the GOP is actually his weakest making him the most electable in a G.E.
Most people defecting from Obama are doing so because he flip-flopped on his campaign promises, Romney is therefore the worst choice to put against Obama because all he needs to do is show Romney's flip-flopping on the NRA, abortion or several others.
