  • awesome

  • best goal ever in a world cup. argentina sadly doesn't deserve the cup this year, but they deserved it in 2006

  • WOW ! the Toqué ! great OMG viva argentina !

  • Quilmes Worldcup Mundial 2006 Bendito Seas, HERE: Efuu5PjbUjo

  • argentinaaaaaa ♥

  • SERBIA 4 LIFE!!^^

  • CL 4 THE WIN!

  • This is a great goal, but not so special. They have no pressure in the fieldplay what so ever and they are using at least 2-3 touch each except a couple of moves. Half of the goals made by Brazil in 1982 was equal or better. But by all means. It looks great though :-)

  • "That's one of the all-time great goals"? Really? He couldn't even be bothered to raise his voice. Jesus, even when soccer is exciting it manages to be boring.

  • @Ghettoavenger

no thats just shit english commentators

  • If you can't appreciate the beauty of a well crafted goal, then what the fudge are you doing here wasting bandwidth. Newsflash nobody gives a crap about what you think, it is insignificant. Nor does the majority of the world care about stop-start yawn-inducing gridiron.

  • I give up sex for until the next world cup if I was the one that score that goal.

  • i would go as far as saying this was better than carlos albertos vs italy in 1970

  • Awesome Goal mine all time fav8 Team Argentina!

  • "that is one of the all time great, world cup goals" . love the call.

  • This epitomises just pure class all round!!

  • that goal is sex!

  • @coolkid05 better than sex !!!!

  • i remembered this game, and it was one of the most beautiful thing i saw, ever. pure bliss

  • I honestly think this is the best goal i have ever seen,, and i am English,, brill goal,, but this year is our time,, this time we win the world cup

  • love martin tyler

  • goal with 25 pass its great goal ever in the history

  • @irfankhan68 24 actually.

  • ¿Mejor gol? Ningún jugador adversario marca. Sólo hay un equipo jugando.

  • Wow. Simply wow.

  • I don't care about the people blinded by nostalgia, This is better than Carlos Alberto's goal.

  • wonderfull goal but hes not playing this world championship

    strange

  • watching this goal is almost as good as sex, 22 uninterrupted passes, real magic. Diego, I wanna see something like this

  • @hareega only if u've got any sex

  • lost count after 12- couldnt keep up! (no im not retarded) ;)

  • Greatest Goal Ever... That is what football is all about, teamplay.. Simple passes.. Gracias Argentina

  • Great football, great goal. Stupid Maradona for leaving Cambiasso home this World Cup. To bad for Argentina their coach hasn't got a clue when it comes to managing and coaching a team.

  • @MvanNistelrooij yeah... but we're still going to take the cup home this year.

  • @MvanNistelrooij And who has a clue? Domenech? Capello? Lippi? come on...give me a break, maradona is maradona he does have a clue of football men

  • CRESPOOOOOOOO

  • @sdk18100

Futebol 5 estrelassss és BRASIL...........5 VS CAMPEÃO DO MUNDO

  • I will never forget this goal. Amazing!

  • This was such a humiliating game for us. Can't remember such a bad match :(

  • I was there!

  • Poetry

  • that was the worst day of my life.. but that goal is damn good!

  • @perasrbin Why what happened to you

  • greatest goal ever

  • i dont believe our greek defence can stand that kind of pressure.argentina will have some problems facing papastathopoulos though.he is a world class player.

  • I can not even do this in video games, how in the world did they do this in REAL LIFE? Mamma mia, VAMOS ARGENTINA!

  • and that was only four years ago, now you'll be surprised if argentina can play football like this against the Ethiopia under 4s team...

  • @NUFCSuraj buddy...buddy ...budddy!!!

you sure are ignorant on the subject. we all thank you for stoping by and appreciate pure magic, now go on, move on go home rest check you tube tomorrow go back to sleep and think about a CLEVER comeback!

    cheers mate!

  • @cristobal1977 LOL comeback to what? you hardly dissed me...

i'm sorry, i assume you're from argentina, surely you aren't defending maradona's tactics and his team? because then i feel it is you who is being ignorant, you have to criticise your team sometimes!

  • @NUFCSuraj Criticise your team sometimes, offcourse. but NOT two weeks before the world cup and after winning 5 straight games and improving game by game. No Cambiasso no Zanetti bla bla bla. Forget all that, the squad is final and the world cup is here. May god be with us all..........

  • @Noeldiego

it's because argentina have quality. fair enough, i exaggerated with my initial comment but the fact is, maradona is tactically awful, the players have quality to win games, there's no doubt about it but they could do so much better with a better manager in charge. even though i'm a newcastle fan, how jonas is in the XI is beyond me. and how esteban and zanetti aren't is even scarier.

  • Cambiasso la mete, pero es el mas pecho frio de la historia... bien que no vaya al 2010 y vos Ingles sacatela del culo que todavia te duele,,,

  • what was serbia doin!! at least we have a better goalie this time around..hopefully we do better...GL Serbia

  • "Stupid" Maradona just left Esteban Cambiasso out of the 2010 World Cup roster for Argentina. He also left out Javier Zanetti. If Argentina doesn't do that well because of lack of defense, you know who to blame.

  • When you look at some of the past goals in the world cup that people really get worked up about like Carlos Alberto's goal in 1970, I think this is far superior. It's right up there with the best ever.

  • Not that good. Most of the passes were in the backline so its only a 5 pass combo once they hit forward. Arsenal do this stuff all the time and much better. Serbia should've won the ball alot earlier too they were terrible

  • awesome goal if only there was an overhead kick finish...

  • Incredible goal........maybe the best goal in World Cup history! Can't believe Maradumba didn't include, Milito, Cabmiasso and Zanetti in this years World Cup though!! Forza Italia ;)

  • When Cuchu started pumping his fists then grabbed the national team jersey as if sayin' "This is YOUR team, this is Argentina." My eyes started to well up.

  • Martin Tyler is a genius. So many only realised how truly special this goal was after watching the replay from the start of the movement, but he had complete awareness the entire time.

  • One of the best goal ever...

I'm a big fan of Argentina and Cambiasso, so I have to say something :

    SHAME ON MARADONNA !

Cambiasso is one of the best midfielder in the world, he plays for Inter Milan since years, he won plenty of championships, he's in Champion's League final but you know, for Diego that's not good enough... Don't tell me this man know something about football, because with any other coach from this planet, Esteban would have been in the selection. I just dont get it...

  • @Shapper8

Actually, I was asking that same question: whatever happened to Esteban Cambiasso?! One of the best all-around midfielders is not even on the national team roster?!?!?

But, I guess, Maradona knows what he is doing.

  • @NYCBG It's a controversial decision why Maradona did not take Zanetti and/or Cambiasso on this WC squad. However, Cambiasso did not perform very well through the qualifying under Maradona, and Maradona wanted to go younger and faster and saw this kid Bolatti who basically plays the same role as Cambiasso, just at a faster pace I guess. I wouldn't say he is as good as Cambiasso right now but could be, also Maradona does not want that fullback role on the field unless required.

  • @bigman6499 i understand, but the actual team is really good eh take a look

  • Cambiasso is the most intelligent player in the world; he and Maicon are the most important players for Inter; he was one of the best vs. Barça, he stopped some guy named LIONEL MESSI. But Maradona the alcoholic prefered to have Bolatti, that plays in Fiorentina... No, I'm sorry, that DOESN'T play in Fiorentina... His duty is to keep Fiorentina bench warm... He wanted GUTIERREZ (Newcastle, 2° english league) and left ZANETTI home. Maradona: the best player ever, the worst coach ever...

  • @ilGenio90 fair enough but he seems to be doing a good job so far in the World Cup

  • @bigman6499 lol you cant really fail in the world cup when u have messi, huguin, tevez, aguero all up front.

  • Bloody Argies. Those creeps can play.

  • @zanzibar79 I am a bloody Argie and your post make me laugh......lol

  • Vamos Argentina!!! El mundial de Sudáfrica es nuestro.

  • Saviola showed great touch in this goal

  • WAOUUUUUUUU !!!!! quel but splendide

  • I'm argentinian so it's amazing see this goal for me.

I hope to see play my football team on this way again in the next W.C.

I don't agree Maradona, only the players can make the diference.

Lo ultimo que dice el comentarista:

"ESTE ES UNO DE LOS MAS GRANDES GOLES DE LAS COPAS DEL MUNDO DE TODOS LOS TIEMPOS,CUANDO SE HABLA DE FUTBOL HAY QUE VER ESTO.

ARGENTINA ACABA DE DAR UN PERFECTO EJEMPLO DE LO QUE ES EL FUTBOL"

    La verdad me emociona.

Un saludo a todos los hermanos latinoamericanos.

  • now this is what i call real beauty. nothing compares to this. not even my gf.

  • @cesarb7 only if you have a gf

  • @cesarb7

    lol

  • are you racist? Everybody can be the fan of a other country.. we´re not living in hitlers age!! wow... cambiasso pwned serbia.... but I guess this years serbia will be much better...

  • A good goal but the Serbs are 10 yards away from their opponents throughout the whole move. Talk about making it easy.

  • Pekerman is awesome coach but he's more dumb than maradona in the match against Germany. The team was leading and he took off riquelme and crespo. You gotta to be on crack to have aimar, saviola, crespo, riquelme & messi all sitting on the bench all together.

  • cambiasso refregando la camiseta, lastima que nunca vamos a ver la misma accion en messi

  • That is one of the all time great WC goals

  • que golazoo papaa!!!! como tocaba ese equipo querido!.

  • Semi-finals this year need to be Argentina v Brazil and Spain v Netherlands. Personally I'me hoping for Spain but Argentina is great too :)

  • @9906x That would be amazing.. good taste

  • Best goal ever,

This is why I love football.

  • fuck it being the best world cup goal. best goal ever!!! in any football competition.

  • fuck serbia

  • martin tyler is the greatest caller of all

  • Has to be the the best ever World Cup goal.

  • what has maradonna done to his team bring bk cambiasso, aimar, saviola and riquelme or he will regret it there team will be perfect

  • Messi, Diego Milito, Aguero, Tevez, Zanetti, Cambiasso, Samuel, Lavezzi, Lucho Gonzalez, Gabriel Milito, Higuaìn, Mascherano, Bolatti, Di Maria... Argentina has so many talented players that it deserves to win the world cup

  • 24 passes . . . simple, beautiful, brilliant

  • huany guys want to chat i feel sooo lonely

  • As a kid,I always cheered for Argentina!

    in 1998,2002 etc

    greetings from Serbia

  • Will they play him in the next world cup?

  • جمله رهيبه

  • Is Argentina going to play him in the world cup?

He's got talent and experience! Hope they do!

  • that's good football

  • 26 pases antes del gol, como extraño ver a ala argentina jugar asi... Maradroga negro de mierda, tomátelas!!!

  • considering the powerful of Argentina, this goal and the rest of them are not a surprise. Surprising is seeing Arg. in the football level that's showing.

  • No passion in that commentating.

  • ...hope we'll have a chance to play against Argentina this time... Serbia 4 Life.

  • and you'll get owned by Argentina again if you guys play them again, so just stay away.

  • what do you know about football you are canadian its not the same team you bloody idiot its not the same time you are not even from argentina to have a reason to say that

  • I see, so I must be born and raised in Argentina to say something, and to be a fan? Are you KIDDING me? Take your bitterness and shove it back where it came from.

    GO ALBICELESTE!

  • thx! im argentinian, and its great to see people from other countries supporting us!

  • @Safeco1999 yes you should have to be from argentina to be a fan. its a national team and not a club team. It's a country n u should support your own country or there is no passion there. It's ok to enjoy watchin other national teams, but u can only be a fan of your countrys team or it's just plastic and fake, which is not what football is about.

  • @Hydro2oo9

You cannot tell anyone who to cheer for, who I MUST support. You sound communist. Pro teams and club teams are based out of cities. Based on your logic, you must be from that city to support that team. Yet your stance is hypocritical towards that.

I can cheer for whatever team or country I want. Fans like me aren't always stuck on this attitude of "if my country cant win, then I dont want anyone else to succeed".

  • @Hydro2oo9 One more thing: What do you say to those people who wear jerseys of other teams outside of that country's borders? I see quite a few people wearing Argentina, England, or Brazil, even Serbia's jersey here!

Doesn't matter where you're from. It's all about the love of the game.

  • @Hydro2oo9 Your pathetic and fake you racist.

  • @LutonIrish10 hahaha racist? I haven't said one thing that is racist. All I said, is you should support your own country when it comes to international football, or it's fake. whats racist in that? You fucking little whopper.

  • I'm looking for the biggest football fans around. If that's you, and you're 25 or older and are interested in an all-expense paid trip to South Africa during the 2010 World Cup - go to budhouse - com for more information.

Both men AND women, from ANY of the 32 qualifying World Cup nations, are encouraged to apply. (BudHouse - com)

  • omg we were raped than i don't know what happend but this world cup is not possible and we have much better team than than and a better coach so we are not shit now we were first in the group so you have to admit that we are good

  • I am a huge Argentina fan and we still have superb players but some will not be picked like Banega, Cambiasso, Aimar, Saviola. The tactics are awful and our coach has not got a clue ie Maradona.

Serbia were missing Vidic before this WC as well which did affect them.

That day was a footballing masterclass and you were unfortunate to be on the end of it. if only we could regain that form.

Serbia is a great country whose people have suffered much. Best of luck to you in this WC2010.

  • thanks finally somebody to understand us but that game we had a big problem with the team and Serbian mentality.Coach sucked he order players not to atack them he order them to wait them until they reach the box what kinda tactic that was.And i think Saviola is the most underated player in the world,i think him and Nikola Zigic.

  • heheh no serbs around here to leave comments ; D

  • hehe, no croats around South Africa to leave their shit around :D

  • THATS TURE FOOTBALL .

  • el gol de guti de taco lo aprendio viendo este gol. jaj

  • For me,true football is that. And nothing else.

  • @Warrenmcj: Of course its a great goal. The finishing is superb one contact football. Wonderful. Also the buildup is impressive. But this doesnt change the fact, that a good team (as Barca e.g.) would score with less passes, because they have better passing skills. This would be a really stunning goal. I think the big thing remarkable of this Argentina goal was, that Serbia let them playing 25 passes. This is not usual. And of course, Argentina is one of the best teams in the world.

  • Argetina loves passing. It makes the team get more and more confidence with the ball. That's what Argentina tries to do in every single match. It doesn't matter the fact you do the less passing the best way you play. It doesn't make any sense. This was the best goal in that world cup. No doubt bout it.

  • awesome

    saviola is underated

  • You can keep going on about how shit the serbs were bla bla bla...... This was an incredible goal! Im english and i admit this, Argentina been one of our fiercest football rivals. Messi is the best player in the world. They were shit in qualifying for the world cup but I think they still have a very good chance of winning.

  • Argentina showed tremendous class with this goal, which is why they are one of the best teams in the world.

  • thats why they didnot even reach semi finals last world cup and barely qualified this year all credit to higuain

  • @Sivia47

We are discussing the style of football, not the results. Many countries did not reach the semifinals; but VERY FEW countries are capable of playing the type of magisterial football that Argentina has displayed in this goal.

    Case closed.

  • Organize mükkemmel bir gol !

  • i also think chelsea's goal against bolton this year was pretty good, and arsenal nasri goal last year against manchester united

  • what a action

  • Riqueleme best player i have seen in my life.

  • Looks pretty but Serbia was doing absolutely nothing . Defense was in shambles physically and mentally . At least one of them was taking bribes too .

  • @filipdolanzi

Foolish answer. Why can't you just accept that this goal was incredibly good?

  • wow, if this isn't considered great teamwork, then I don't know what is.

  • Interesting to me is how every pass ( except one ) was hit in almost exactly the same way, low and very hard.

  • obviously flimmerfred knows nothing about football

  • I disagree. 25 passes in a row isn't usual. This is a great buildup. ARG tries the same wing a few times, and it isn't on, so they bring it back and reset the attack. The final touch may not be the best cherry on top, but the quality of the buildup is superb.

  • @flimmerfred

yes, exactly, barcelona doesn't play like this at all- just one or two passes and they score, like all "really good teams" *NOTE THE SARCASM*. in other words you're wrong D:

  • that was amazing

  • only burdisso and the keeper didnt touch the ball for this goal

  • what a fucking goal!

  • Everyone touched that ball, bar the other team ;)

  • 25 great comlete correct passes

  • UNA MASA ESTE GOLAZO!!!!! Aguante Argentina Carajo!

  • "wroted"?

You opinion doesn't count when you get your grammar that wrong!

  • better then porn

  • hahahahaha

  • Absolutely incredible goal! I remember watching this at the time, it is one of the best goals ever.

Saviola played a crucial role, you just sensed something was going to happen when he turned and did the one-two with Riquelme.

Argentina when playing like this are sublime: they are the definition of controlling the tempo of the game, and turning up the pace when it suits them! Masterful football!

  • BEST FUCKING GOAL EVER

  • he's a good commantour but does anyone know who called Euro 2008 final... what is his name!!!!!

  • Martin Tyler is the best English language football commentator.

  • What a magic goal that was

  • football as poetry.

  • liquid football
