  • Dear Will,

why do you have to add a loop to your groundstrokes? does it make it more powerful or what?

  • But Will, don't mind me asking....but what exactly is the use of this loop...What difference does it bring to the game we would play without the loop?

  • Around 1:58 seems to be easy...

  • Who is the tallest Tennis player?

  • there is NO loop!! it is high takeback and swing!!! tink better to teach WHOLE ting properly talented players backsteps progression MO GOOD! otherwise bad habbits creep in ---

  • Is it important to add a loop.

  • thanks..........

  • Why is it important to add the loop to your swing? Why not just start your swing on every shot like you do in the 3rd step?

  • You generate more power since the swing time is longer. Adding the backswing increases the time you can accelerate the racket, so it gives more power.

  • I wish he mentioned why people add the loop; sort of scratching my head why he didn't. But yeah; great answer BW.

  • In fairness i believe that he never mentioned why as its so obvious why you would add it. He also never mentioned why you have to hold the racket.

  • momentum probably

  • yes creates more momentum and power. especially if you're a behind-the-baseline player.
