I think having the bass play all the same notes lower is making it sound muddy, you should have the bass going off in its own direction at times, its called counterpoint and Iron maiden was pretty good at this. Playing the same tones at different octaves becomes tiring to the ears in my opinion, but the riffs are good and the composition is well done
