  • Is 734 in this video in West Virginia

  • bearings and bushings are replaced when worn , and they were in 1916 too. the majority of the parts on these engines are NOT original, i dunno why you have the idea they are

in fact, they replaced the engineer's side this past winter and it doesnt clank anymore....

  • eh oh well its still a great loco

  • Jeez Give it a break it is old. 1916....................you really can't make that sound perfect in 2009. We have advanced in technology but they are not going to ship it out to an engine refinery when they can do their best here in Cumberland. GIVE IT A BREAK.

  • Dang, they sound like crap..

  • Yeah sounds like some running gear work is in order.

  • My god. I love the sound of'em but I know damn well they need attention...

Sounds like too high of a reverser notch along with lack of proper maintenance.

  • Man, it sounds as loose as 65. Something must have been up with the engine or the track that day. Nice shot, though

  • Lack of proper maintenance IS whats up. At least they didnt loose a tire or sumthing.....again.

  • Im not train expert but with that bike trail along side the rail...sounds like a bad combination lol. Ive watched some WMRR vids and allready realized there terrible maintnance? yikes
