Nirvana started playing thrashy and some metal style of songs but then they did Nevermind and that put them up as a pop band when they wanted to be a rock band.
I am also sick of ppl calling Nirvana a punk band, they didnt just play punk music afterall they were more a grunge then punk band also also played some metal riffed songs.. But this band Forced Entry is kick arse, and shame they didn't get more credit and get more recognised then all the gay pop shit that was on radio then!
If anyone is interested what the Hull Family is up too. Search LSDiablo and check out some of our videos we have up. I have an ALL NEW Betcha Can't Play This lick posted for the week! Will be posting BRAND NEW videos weekly. Thank you for supporting our Family! We really appreciate it!
GOOD SHIT. I finally found this music video... I have seen the interview with this band before but never the full song. This shit is way better then Nirvana!
FORCED ENTRY FUCKING RULE! I can't even think of any other thrash bands that sound like them. They perfectly combine technicality with brutality. Stone is one band that comes very close; especially on the No Anesthaesia album. Check them out if you like this!
I saw them twice and hung out with them twice at Sundance Bayshore LI. I also hung out with Brad one other time when he covered for Savatage or someone. I think that was at the Roxy. Brad was a really cool guy. He must have had a dozen foot pedals that he stomped constantly. A very amazing guitarist.
I remember seeing them at The OK Hotel with The Accused a couple of different times and that was my favorite 1-2 combo of local bands in the 1980's/early 90's! Thanks for posting this!
the solo at the begining is so fucking beautiful... it damn near brings tears to my eyes. This band's name needs to be mentioned aside any of the other greats in thrash. DAMN YOU GRUNGE FOR MAKING THEM DISAPPEAR!
Saw these guys a few times at the legendary SUNDANCE on Long Island. They ruled. Also saw Sanctuary play at Sundance and they had the guy from Forced Entry filling in on guitar.....Brad Hull??
Finally! Tony and the boys are here...burned a few bowls and drank a bunch a beer w/ Tony B.(Bass/Lead Voc)back in the day...went to school with em' in Wa.state...Bone crackin' fever is still the best!
Thrash metal, nothing more to say , totaly amazing and tecnical thrash!!!
i meet unmercifull at soulseek a couple of times, i show him a lot of bands an he has a lot of really underground bands!! he has a band also called Molecular Repulsion is quite good . he was the drummer. bye!
Anyone remember Silence / (Necrosis before they changed to Silence)? Learned of this band when Silence opened up for them. Completely kick ass to have vids of theirs on you tube. I think this band was the best of this genre, bar none.
Hell yeah! My first ever stage dive was at one of their shows that was at some dudes house in Mount Lake Terrace. I went to the same High School that they did, just a couple years behind them.
Best song "Frigid Bitch"!!! Anyone remember Coven? "Iron Dick" was fuckin' awesome!!
Wow It has been so long since I heard this. I had forgotten all about these guys. What an awesome band. Hard to believe guys like this dont fare better but then again with culture the way it is the arent palitable enough for the Sheeple masses.
Dam... I dont understand how bands like Forced Entry and Wrathchild America are so dam underated... these guys have 20938457x more talent than bands like slayer. I cant even find one of there Cd's at a normal price
