i agree. I have not seen another mainstream artist that is as deep and creative and Lupe. That freakin MYH concept was SEXY!!!! lol! Love a good storyteller than can make it flow. But anyway, everyone knows that Lupe writes meaningful lyrics, but I still think a lot of people don't know the full extent of his creativity and deepness. How many rappers do you know other than him that can write beyond a 5th grade level without making up a dumb dance, and combine it with a meaningful concept.

The first line of the song definitely explains it all, "Let's the review the essentials of Cool" IMPORTANT: Cool is actually actually the character Michael Young History. After he died, he became The Cool. In the song, Lupe is talking about what makes MYH "cool" and what he likes, the fact that he didn't go to college, he's all about his money, and he's got street smarts. All of the material things, fame and money, he gained because of the gold chain he got from his girl.

its a sample and personally its a great job even if they made the sound they sampled. Its hiphop and you dont like the sample go buy a brittney spears cd and get auto toned til ur brainwashed. the damn sample makes the track and the producers are giving the elements in their tracks. I think its tied with dumb it down for best track and if you didnt like gold watch dumb it down is for you.
