@LalaRanj1 It does have HDMI output but the cable wasn not included, at least not where I ordered it. Maybe other stores include a cable? Those cables can be bought dirt cheap on eBay.

Also - looks like iPhone 4 cannot provide personal wi-fi connection for U9GT2 running Android 4.0. Nor can it be tethered to same with USB cable, and it does not have bluetooth - so, apart from wi-fi, I cannot connect when out on the road somewhere! :-(

Anyone out there that has done this successfully?

@schmoop351 "funny" you ask, on our CM forum somebody reported that he also can't use his iPhone as a wifi hotspot. Another user replied that it is working perfectly for him! I don't know what he did to make it work but somehow it seems to work :-)

@SchlumpfiHB UPDATE: I could 'find' my iPhone on friend's Acer Android Tablet AND I could find his Android phone on my Cube - so sum ting wong! Turns out, I returned it to supplier who identified a 'bug' or 'mishap' when the firmware was up-spec'd. He is returning a new one with guarantees it will work this time. So put it down to an 'anomaly' rather than syntax, compatibility or manufacturing problems. Cheers

@1234jfos I have a custom firware to be found at the xda developers forum on it. Just google for xda developers and search for U9GT2 there.

@1234jfos People are raving about Android 4.0 - but some techo gurus have put out patches to eliminate a few ...aaaaahhhh.... teething problems. Apparently it 'smokes' Ver 2.3.

@ktoridesk I never had a Tegra2 tablet but I am pretty sure a Tegra2 device must be faster than this one.

@SchlumpfiHB it definitely is since its dual core. I tried an asus transformer tf101, it didn't seem any faster than what i see in your video as far as the general user interface. probably tegra2 just makes a difference in games and 3d.

@Costerguy1234556 I was about to pull the trigger on this and started looking at the Transformer and the lowest I'm finding it available for is $380...still well above the U9GT2's $249, so I just purchased this unit. Never bought a chinese device before so I hope the quality is as good as everyone states. The Acer Iconia would have been my next choice as it seems close to the Asus but $70+ less.

Hi, I was wondering if you could do a review on the herotab s1 9.7" tablet also found on merimobiles. It's very similar to this one but I want to be able to compare them as there is no available video of them at the moment. I see the CPU here is supposed to clock at 1.2 ghz but you said 1 ghz.

I also saw a video of this and they had honeycomb running on it. Do you know if it comes with honeycomb preinstalled? And how does Skype perform on the platform?

@Aurouse I said 1GHz because that's what different benchmarks told me. Maybe it's overclocked? I don't know. I don't think there is Honeycomb available for this device, what you probably saw was a launcher that looks like honeycomb. No idea about Skype, I never skyped before in my life ;-)
