I reckon the main problem with the wii was third party support. The console was, and is absoloutely perfect. As a guy who owns both a wii and an xbox 360, I prefer each console more or less sometimes. Wii feels like the type of console I can sit back, relax and enjoy all day long. A sought of console that's for my quiet time. Xbox 360 is definately more of a social console. I can play the game while talking to my mates at the same time. But the gameplay doesn't last as long for some reason.

I love how nintendo doesnt constantly toss different variations of the same type of game like first person shooters. the xbox and ps3 are built off of that, and I just think it is a bit repetative. All the games for ps3 and xbox are 90% shooters
i hate when people say the wii is for kids because theres is a lack of hard core shooter. the wii has good shooter most of then not ports. i have a ps3 and 360 and i noticed every game one them are mostly shooters and mindless shooting games the wii has all types like platforming games which i would say is why the wii is more better than xbox or ps3. besides i rather be a fan of a company that knows how to innovate as aposed to a company that just imitate yeah sony and microsoft GO WII!!!!
I got the wii as a gift and I can't take it anymore! The graphics just kill me! Theh look awful! I even gave it a chance to at least have some fun. But I still miss the halo, mw2, need for speed. And all the good games :'(

But, usually child gamers don't really care how good a game is; they just want to play it. Adult gamers are more aware of what the game consists of, and actually want a high quality game, whereas nintendo can get away with shit games, because the majority of the audience (kids) don't care.

I swear gears 1 looks better,i am not trying to be a fanboy or nothing. I have both games and wouldn't lie. I seen textures on the environments in mgs 4 and they aren't pretty at all. The skin on the characters don't look realistic,it seems to use the engine mgs 3 did because the skins are similar.
mgs 4 definitely doesn't have better graphics. i have mgs 4 and even signed by kojima. it looks like mgs 3 in high res,the first gears looks far better.
that movie sucks,a movie with 5 hours of gameplay. That's why gears and halo 3 outsold that pos movie. that movie tried and copy gears cover system lmao.

im a wii fan i dont have a ps3 and 360, ps3 has blu ray, and the only reason why you think 360 has better graph is because they are pushing it to its limit, the ps3 can surpass the 360, the only reason why it has some bad looking games is because it is hard for 3rd party developers to make a real ps3 game, you'll see many more graphic games as the years go by
lol blu ray the gimmick. the disk speed is slower because of blu ray.which is why there is forced installs. 360 has a more powerful gpu,it is not being pushed to the limit. all multiplatform looks worse because it has a lack of ram in it. ps3 has 256 ram and 360 has 512 ram.
Wii is the worst shit ever made by human hands. Nintendo said Wii will have revolutionary controls LOL maybe for casual gaming all you need to do in most of the games is to shake the wii remote. At least it runs Gamecube games.

I'm trying to keep my enthusiasm down to avoid disappointments, but i hope for great things for Wii U. Wii certainly wasn't. 360 and PS3 BY FAR...have better games in the long run.

Not trying to sound like a hater, cuz there's still a big ninty fan in me, but i was severly disappointed with Wii. If it wasn't for Mario Galaxy 1 &2, NMB a, Donkey Kong and Zelda...the console would have been shit....for me. Very sad that the third party games were so incredibly forgettable. @MrGameWay not a fanboy or a hater, but there are like 5 good games on the wii i can't play buy swinging the remote randomly and spamming buttons. Im actually a huge fan of Zelda TP and Mario Galaxy 1 & 2, and Brawl, but quite honestly, the good games end there. NO other game on this console make it worth buying, and with games like little big planet and the ps move and kinect, there is aboslutley NO reason to buy a wii nowadays, hopefully WiiU will be better

@MrGameWay I agree. I'm so sick of everyone saying that it sucks. Who gives a crap about graphics? A game can have the most beautiful graphics in the world. But if you aren't throwing good gameplay on top of it, then those graphics don't mean anything. And I'm not being biased here. I actually own a 360 and plan on getting a PS3 soon. I just don't think that the Wii is as bad as ppl make it out to be. As a matter of fact, I actually think it's better than the 360.

I swear gears 1 looks better,i am not trying to be a fanboy or nothing. I have both games and wouldn't lie. I seen textures on the environments in mgs 4 and they aren't pretty at all. The skin on the characters don't look realistic,it seems to use the engine mgs 3 did because the skins are similar.

im a wii fan i dont have a ps3 and 360, ps3 has blu ray, and the only reason why you think 360 has better graph is because they are pushing it to its limit, the ps3 can surpass the 360, the only reason why it has some bad looking games is because it is hard for 3rd party developers to make a real ps3 game, you'll see many more graphic games as the years go by

lol blu ray the gimmick. the disk speed is slower because of blu ray.which is why there is forced installs. 360 has a more powerful gpu,it is not being pushed to the limit. all multiplatform looks worse because it has a lack of ram in it. ps3 has 256 ram and 360 has 512 ram.
