I love Eagles of Death Metal but I'm really not sure what to think about this solo effort, I'll wait to hear the whole album but I'm not sure what to expect, the violin solo in this is amazing and it has such a funky vibe but...could it be just pretencious nonsense or musical talent?
@donk525 I thought the same thing. I'm kinda dissapointed about Jesse's new album. Too much computerized stuff in it... I think the song Oh baby is awesome though.
@94GenerationAwesome sounds are not really any different when you get into the science behind it, a good software can emulate the most distinctive guitar distortion, I know I use vintage gear and computers and sometimes I'm blown away by computer effects, if you mean it has a more dance funk electronic feel, than a hard rock n roll blues feel then I hear what you're saying, having known him for many years this move doesn't surprise me at all.
