  • hey guys i really enjoy your video and i hope you can help me, since you are over there, is there any way to get to Koyasan from Nara?? i hope you assist me since im planning my 5 days tour , great way for recording your experiences!!!

  • It's quite a haul to get to Koyasan from Nara, and you will definitely need to make a few transfers. This route allows the least amount of transfers: Take the JR Yamatoji line from Nara to Shinimamiya Stn.. Transfer to the Nankai Koya line Express to Hashimoto (Wakayama) Stn.. Transfer to the Nankai Koya line (not express) to Gokurakubashi Stn. to catch the cable car to Koyasan. Check out this great website for train schedules throughout Japan - hyperdia dot com

  • Where is that place you stayed at 04:34 ?

  • Shojoshin-in. It's a Shingon temple in Koyasan. Really nice rooms and the vegetarian meals were great.

  • haha this was great ---- I leave to live in Japan for 6 months at the beginning of next years. In Fukushima Prefecture! Yay!
