One of Korea’s best-kept secrets, Ttongsul is “feces wine”. This drink is made by pouring shochu into a pit full of chicken, dog, or human feces, and leaving the mixture in the pit until it ferments. Human feces is most popular, since it’s readily available from chamber pots. It’s similar to the African drug jenkem, but unlike jenkem, Koreans actually drink the Ttongsul, out of the belief that it can cure illnesses.
as a korean-american, i dont hold a grudge towards the Japanese, but the government can go to hell. they still havent apologized and if you ask any zainichis who went through the pains they went through, youll hear a very sad story
While I agree with you that Japan's government and most of the entire Diet can go to hell, you can't really expect them to apologise for all the hardships zainichi koreans experienced in Japan. I don't think the American government has ever formally apologised to the blacks for slavery either. Apologies are a complex matter in politics.
@Basehad I agree with you fully, as politically apologizing isn't as easy as people describe it, or else as you said America and many other countries would've already "apologized" for black slave labor.
The zainichis were the ones who created the Yakuza in Japan. They knew hardships and they honored those who suffered with them and that why they offered food to those hit by the earthquake. Even the word Saki comes from Korean word Sakeh which means NOT FRESH. Japan tries to deny many things

The Japanese gov and Korean gov already had an agreement that all compensation between the two nations are finished. Also almost all Zainichi today are immigrants during the Korean war and have nothing to do with the Japanese annexation of Korea.
@Thegus0 It's not Korean gov asking the apology but the victims. It was stupid of Japan's govt to think they could just pay off Korean govt to silence grievances of the people who suffered. It was calculated move which does not resolve the core problem. They should've done what German govt did.
