First of all, stabbing each other with a real knife wouldn't have been very productive. Secondly, guns aren't really a stealthy nor gruesome method of murder. Thirdly, 'real' knives aren't used in future length films, or at least not knives that aren't blunt. Fourthly, since when has it been legal for us to carry a large butcher's knife around with us in the UK?

Id understand if you couldnt get a hold of a real gun, but everyone has a real knife at home.

Good copies of knifes are used in movies.
